Before my appointment, I went down a rabbit hole of reviews, but I always want to check things out for myself before turning them away. I'm glad that I didn't follow the negative reviews. The front desk staff was polite and greeted me immediately as I walked through the door. She checked me in right away as I walked around checking out their frames. I was then greeted by Brooklyn who took me back to start my initial exam. She greeted me by my name, she was cheerful, and professional. I was then moved to the official exam room with I was greeted by Dr. Doan. Her energy was amazing!!! She made me feel relaxed and heard. I was not rushed as all and I've read reviews about being rushed. I could tell that she really knew what she was talking about and she was very informative about what I needed. She didn't spend time feeding me BS and charging me up!!!! Finally, Ms. Diane finalized my presciption and orders. She walked me through what my charges were after my insurance. NOBODY tried to upsell any services in which I didn't need. There may have been suggestions, but it wasn't anything that I needed for my lens. I am very pleased with my first visit and all of the staff today that assisted me.

I had a very disappointing experience with Memorial Eye Center – Missouri City. I scheduled an appointment for my son on 05/26/2026 using the scheduling system directly on Memorial Eye Center’s website. Unfortunately, after arriving about 10 minutes late, the staff spent another 15 minutes trying to locate the appointment because it had apparently been entered under my name instead of my son’s. Regardless, the appointment was still made through their own system. After finally finding it, I was told they were “fully booked” and could not see my son. I specifically took my son out of school for this appointment, and the situation could have been handled much more professionally and respectfully. Instead, the staff came across as rude, dismissive, and inconsiderate of our time and effort. Customer service seems to be lacking more and more these days. Mistakes happen, but how staff treat people matters. A little understanding, communication, and willingness to help would have gone a long way. Very frustrating experience overall. Never will I be back

My recent visit to Memorial Eye Center was excellent. The entire staff and doctor were extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. They took their time with my exam, never rushed through any part of the process, and made sure all of my questions were answered thoroughly. I truly appreciated the level of care and attention they provided. Additionally, my glasses were ready much faster than I expected, which was a great bonus. Overall, the experience was wonderful from start to finish, and I’m very satisfied with the service I received.

Never got to use my glasses before they broke, first time I tried to put them on-they broke. I reached out but no one bothered to contact me back. I also felt like my exam was not completed compared to other eye centers. It was quick, 5 min and done to asses what prescription was needed didn’t make any sense. Waste of $400 on glasses.

My eye doctor, Dr. Doan is wonderful! She’s extremely skilled, kind, and always makes me feel comfortable during my visits. She takes her time, explains everything clearly, and truly cares about her patients. I highly recommend her!
