Update at 4:03 on July 2, 2026. We still have not received our refund. After this review, on Jun 19, 2026, I heard from Brittany, the manager. She said she would have an answer to me by Monday, Tuesday at the latest. Well, I didn't hear anything, so around 4:00 on that Tuesday, I called Brittany. She put me on hold for a long time and then finally came back and said billing put the check in the mail. I had requested that I be allowed to pick up the check directly from Brittany at the Eyecare Center. It has now been seven business days anf no check. I just don't understand the problem. Why is it so hard to get a refund from an overpayment. I hope the owner can help figure this delay out and get my husband and me the money we are owed. Monica Holmes My husband was overcharged for his lenses in January 2026 and we are having a devils of a time trying to get reimbursed. The process for the reimbursement started at the end of February 2026. No one at the eyecare center can help, and he can only talk to billing online. They are of no help either, except to say he is due the refund. He has gone to the BBB, in which they aren't enrolled. He has also gone through the NC Attorney General. On top of that he notified our insurance company, and they tried to get an answer too. Still waiting!!! Be aware of what you should be paying and them telling you how much you owe.

Olivia-optician at this location(2630 Peters Creek Parkway W-S, NC) was a huge help for me. Every time I visit this location I’m extremely pleased w/the service Olivia & others provides me. Olivia takes out time to explain everything, she is wonderful!!! I will never return to the Stratford Rd location in Winston-Salem,NC. The last person(optician) that checked me out at the Stratford Rd store was lazy and not helpful, she did not assist me with getting the best for my buck($), not was she helpful!!! When I told her I was triple covered and has never paid she didn’t care perceived to charge me $25+ anyway although i I shouldn’t had to pay it!
Olivia was amazing, she took the time to educate me and to work the best deal for glasses. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Dr Tran is very efficient, patient and kind. Highly recommend their services!
I had a great experience with the doctor, but unfortunately the process of getting my glasses was very disappointing. I ordered two pairs of glasses, but no one ever called me to let me know when they were ready. When I stopped by in person, only one pair was available, and I specifically asked them to call me if the other pair didn’t arrive. Two weeks later, I went back again, only to be told that my order had been canceled—without anyone ever contacting me. They mentioned I could get a refund of $135, but instead of processing it automatically, I was told I’d need to come in personally to pick it up. At that point, I decided to just leave the money as a credit. What made the experience even worse was the way the manager handled it. He was standing right there while I was calmly explaining my situation, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, he told me I was wrong for writing a review. When I tried to explain, he interrupted, saying, “Don’t point your finger at me,” even though I wasn’t pointing a finger at him at all. His response was dismissive, disrespectful, and completely unhelpful. The moral of the story: whatever you’re doing here, make sure you get it in writing and confirm everything on the spot, because follow-ups don’t seem to happen. The company itself might be good in other locations, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend doing business at this one. If you go, I strongly suggest visiting their Stratford location instead.
Front Staff is unfriendly. They don't want to recognize the customer when they walk into the store and they also do not say goodbye to the customer when they leave. The ladies who work with the glasses are nice and friendly. All mirrors need serious cleaning. Front staff should smile and greet the customers. The environment should be welcoming. Fire the front staff and start fresh!
