I was skeptical about all the 5 star reviews because of the way businesses pressure people to leave reviews these days, but I was wrong! Pros: - Beautiful office that’s clean, comfortable, and modern - Nice staff, helped me confirm insurance benefits in advance - Appts available until 6pm for anyone who works late, and I was able to get in same day - Dr. Patel is very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He was efficient but never made me feel rushed even though I was his last appt of the day. This is seriously the best kept secret among Austin eye clinics. I’m so glad it’s located on the East side and will be recommending to all my coworkers at Tesla!

We just had our first visit at Eyedea today for the whole family! Dr. Patel is incredibly organized, thorough, and patient. He was AMAZING with our 6 month old baby and was able to do so many calming tactics to get his eye exam completed! Also, I’m not the biggest fan of things getting too close to my eyes - but, Dr. Patel walked me through every step and made me feel heard and not embarrassed. 10/10 recommend Eyedea for folks who are looking for a small business, attentive, and meaningful optometry experience!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Patel and his staff. I needed a last-minute appointment for a general eye exam and a contact prescription and found him on Zocdoc. My appointment started on time and the exam was extremely comprehensive. He took the time to explain the different pictures of my eye and what we were looking at meant. I feel like I know my eyes a lot better now 😀 They also have a really well curated selection of frames that you might not find at other practices. I wasn’t planning on picking up a new pair, but I found one that was too good to pass up. 10/10 would recommend seeing Dr. Patel for your vision needs.

The best eye doctor I’ve ever been to Dr. Patel is a genuinely one of the sweetest people ever. The office has such great taste. It makes you feel like you’re in a Wellness studio rather than your typical eye doctor.

I normally do not write Google reviews, but I have to share my recent eye examination visit. I made an urgent eye appointment with Dr. A Patel, and was seen the same day. Dr. Patel, was very professional and very thorough during my eye examination. I was very pleased with the care I received. If you are in need of an Optometrist/eye doctor, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Patel.
