Eyemart Express

I would give a negative star review if I could just for this individual pictured below. He should not be the first face you see when you walk in, simply because he is incredibly rude. There are two doors for this business, one is exam & one is for shopping for frames (I did not know when I arrived, pictured below). I walk into the wrong one & was welcomed with his stank attitude. It’s a shame that instead of greeting your customers with kindness, you greet them with a smug attitude & proceed to sit there on your phone while giving the most minuscule amount of information as if the customer should’ve known everything off the bat. The young lady next door who did the pics/exam & the telehealth providers were awesome.

I recently visited Eyemart Express (Suite 262 on Durham-Chapel Hill Road in Durham) after my son broke his frames. His lenses were still perfectly fine, so we were just hoping to find a quick and affordable solution. When I walked in, the general manager, Jimmy S., went above and beyond. Instead of pushing a sale, he took the time to carefully glue and repair the frames so my son could get through the day because he really needed his glasses. In order to get a new pair my son needed to be present. That level of kindness and thoughtfulness truly meant a lot. In a time where many places focus only on transactions, Jimmy showed genuine care and compassion. Because of that, I gladly supported the business by purchasing lens cleaner and a cloth—items we actually needed—but more importantly, I wanted to give back in some small way for his generosity. There are plenty of places you can go for services, but what makes a business stand out is how they treat people. This experience is exactly what will bring me back. If you’re looking for a place that values kindness, compassion, and customer care, I highly recommend Eyemart Express.

Gwen, Jaqueline and Selena all was helpful in getting me my lenses ready after exam even with of being last hour before close. Jaqueline was helpful with all questions and had a positive attitude

The people here were great and fast. The doctor went over all my photos they took of my eyes. Experience with Eyemart express was amazing I would recommend them to anyone received my new glasses in 56 minutes. Thanks to everyone that helped me.

The customer experience was great! We were taken care of from the beginning until the end. And my son was able to get a free second pair of glasses and the wait time was 40 minutes to get a pair of glasses! Awesome!
