Dr. Monique Jackson is a fantastic eye doctor, probably the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately the optician that works here is unhelpful and rude. I’ve ordered glasses here twice and both times have had extensive problems with them. The optician is incredibly dismissive and unpleasant to deal with. My glasses were damaged and were severely limiting my vision. I was told by Dr. Jackson to come in person when I ordered my glasses to make sure there were no issues. I did and was told by the optician that “they weren’t taking glasses orders at this time.” I told her I was having a “glasses emergency” and she rudely asked “what is a glasses emergency?” I explained that the doctor told me to come in to order. She begrudgingly took my glasses order but said she couldn’t put in the order as it was too close to closing (it was 4:45). She said she would call me the next day but never did. I had to repeatedly call back to get her on the phone. When the glasses arrived, they were unfinished. I will get my eye exams here but I will never order glasses from eyes on canal again.
