I got a pair of glasses (bifocal with transitional lenses) from Family EyeCare Clinic in Mentor and hated them, and decided to return them under their 30-day full refund guarantee. When I asked about the refund difference between a simple pair for distance only, they said I wouldn't get any refund because they were 'remaking' the glasses, even though the 2nd pair would be considerably cheaper. So, I returned the original pair for a full $535 refund and will get a pair of glasses elsewhere. The manager didn't blink, she didn't care, didn't try to keep me as a new customer and I walked out happy, but I will never go back there. Dr Brooke and support staff were very kind and seemed competent. But I'm always a bit suspect when there's a retail optician shop inside the optometrist office, as the money to be made is in the sale of glasses. If you want an eye exam, get the prescription and go elsewhere for glasses 🤓
I have gone to Dr. Kane for years. He is caring, professional, and provides great information in a calm manner. I know I will get all my Questions answered, he is never in a rush. I highly recommend him and all the staff at Family Eye Care.
