I have been visiting Family Eyecare since I was 9 years old. I always have a 10/10 experience. I will still give my 5 stars. Yesterday, however was a completely different experience for me. Our regular doctor called out and we were placed with an older eye doctor lady. I understand she was probably busy filling in and frustration set in. The way she treated my son and I at the beginning of our appointment was truly disappointing, she seemed very on edge. I was there to check up on a scratch on my eye for my son. Right away I was asked what the drops were he was using which yes I agree I should have known. I would have been able to log on to the health portal but there is no service in there. I was then told "I really don't like when people don't know the names of the eye drops" or something along those lines, which I said well let me go try to get some service she goes on to say "yea step out into the lobby and see if you can get it working" it's not working. I then ask the people at the front desk if I may please have the WiFi password for two minutes I am told no a couple of times and then all of a sudden someone says just give it to her. I go back in to only be questioned right away to see if I had the name of the drops, which again, yes I should have been prepared. The way I felt this whole appointment I seriously could have just lost it. From the way I was treated by the doctor to then the staff. I honestly felt like I was being treated like another person in line. I have never felt This way at family eye care. It always has felt like family. Sadly not yesterday. I will continue to go here because I have had really great experiences and it's close to home. My son even said the doctor was really rude. Anywho I'm not normally a complainer and normally don't leave reviews but I felt like I needed to especially when my son and I both felt the vibe. Hoping my future experiences don't feel like yesterday's. I did get my glasses cleaned so that was a plus! Thank you!

My first experience here was absolutely incredible! And me being a new patient, I won’t go into details. You know, details like as soon as I arrived I was treated like a longtime patient. Everyone was so professional and cordial. As soon as I was called back, I began my journey of being treated like a VIP. It seemed all of the staff collaborated to make sure I was taken care of, and I absolutely was. They made sure all my questions were answered and they even double checked a couple of things to reassure me as a 63 year old diabetic, I’m doing pretty good. They explained the insurance process to me and one of the doctors whose name will be on a lot of the documentation even came in to introduce themselves, which I thought was top-notch! I felt like I was surrounded by family. So, on my way out, I asked if I could have my current glasses adjusted for fit and they said have a seat in Optical. Then appearing out of nowhere was the Optician Gregor Martin! He not only fitted my current glasses, but in an instant broke down all my options for new eyewear. I have been a patient of an office nearby, but after this experience, I wish I had come here from the start and I will refer no one else, but Family Eyecare Specialists! Thank you so much…

Customer service is fantastic, knowledge is abundant, and an office of happy, helpful staff. Recently, I was fortunate to get assistance from Ms. Karla, I gave her a minute to catch her breath, she hurried to the phone so no one would have to be put on hold (talk about caring for the customer) she offered all the answers I needed. Later, I got to speak with Ms. Veronica who knew more about my insurance than I did. Her knowledge was impressive, extremely helpful, and financially beneficial to my pocketbook. Ms. Brunzlick OD is my one and only optometrist. I will never need to look for another.

I had the absolute best experience today! I felt the dr was extremely knowledgeable and fully explained my eye health imaging and prescription options. Then Jae helped me with getting 2 pairs of new glasses. He was very efficient and covered everything with me so I understood the different costs and options. All in all, I had a great experience and definitely recommend them!

Great service from start to finish. Eye pre exam young lady did a great job and the ophthalmologist did a great exam and recommended not using polycarbonate for my lens materials ever again. The eye glasses fitter was very informative and did a great job. I recommend Family Eyecare specialists at the Caldwell location very highly 👍👍👍
