The doctor is highly knowledgeable and absolutely worth the drive. Unfortunately, the overall experience is consistently undermined by excessive wait times. Appointments frequently run far behind schedule, and even the assistants have acknowledged difficulties with scheduling, noting that different visit types require varying amounts of time. This ongoing lack of organization is quite apparent. Much of the delay seems to stem from the front-office staff. The assistants spend most of their time on the computers and often appear disorganized, disengaged, and unhelpful. While they can be pleasant at times, communication is a major issue; patients are rarely informed about delays, problems, or what to expect. During our visit, we also observed that incoming phone calls were repeatedly placed on hold for extended periods without any clear reason, even while the office was relatively quiet. This raises concerns about how time and responsibilities are being managed. To make matters worse, we arrived slightly late due to weather conditions and called ahead to notify the office. We were told it would be fine. However, upon arrival, this was not acknowledged, and no further communication was provided. We were still made to wait over an hour, which is particularly concerning given that the patient is diabetic and had not eaten due to the early appointment time. With better training, organization, and proactive communication from the office staff, this practice could be excellent.
