FYidoctors was a great experience. The front desk was very friendly and helpful, I had a bit of emergency and they found room for me the day of. Doctor Aaron was very professional and knowledgeable of what I needed. The overall experience was excellent. I couldn't be more happy with their team. I would recommend to anyone.

This is a review for not only the care I have received, but for my 85 year old father as well. Dr. Lech is has some of the greatest bedside manner and patience you could ask for in healthcare. We’ve been looking for answers for years with some eyesight issues, and instead of throwing his hands in the air, Dr. Lech is taking steps to try and solve the problems rather than forgetting about them. I also truly appreciate the efficiency and care his staff provides as well.

I was many years overdue for a comprehensive checkup and chose FYI because of the good reviews - so glad I did! Huge thank you to everyone who helped me, from the front desk staff to the doctor and the EXTREMELY patient young lady who had to put up with me taking forever to choose the new frames I wanted. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and I felt well taken care of!

a few days ago, my husband stepped on his relatively new progre$$ive glasses and mutilated them, bending both the frame and the arm into unnatural shapes. his vision is poor, so jim relies a lot on them but he still managed to crunch them after working hours. the next day, we called FYidoctors and spoke with jackie, the optician; she told us to come in right after lunch. at first glance, jackie thought we'd have to get a new frame (jim had no back-up pair) because it looked truly mauled, but at least the lenses were still ok. she told us she would take them 'in back' to try and work with them a little and hoped it didn't make them worse. after not too long, jackie came back and handed jim glasses, which looked very much like they did originally. what? he really thought they were a different pair from the wreck he brought in. no, jackie fixed them and asked that he try them on; he could read just fine. we both kept looking up at her, incredulous that not only were they be re-shaped like new, but that her re-adjusting them made the prescription feel even better than before the abuse. jackie is a petite woman, very soft-spoken and not given to excess chatter (like i am). but she is warm, sincere, kind and very present in her dealings with you ...and she packs one helluva good optical repair. we wished we could have her as our PCPs and you will, too.

I recently completed a visual skills assessment at this clinic, and I genuinely had a wonderful experience. When I first reached out, I had a very specific situation and needed to be seen sooner than usual. Even though their schedule was packed, they remembered me and called as soon as they had a cancellation. Not only were they able to see me much sooner, but they also made sure that the paperwork that I needed was completed in a timely manner. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and, for most of my education, I never understood why learning took me so much longer than it did for others. I did not know that my visual system was a major part of the struggle. For years, I pushed myself and worked incredibly hard, sometimes taking two or three times longer to learn something. There were many times when I felt defeated or questioned whether I simply was not good enough. I carried that feeling without ever knowing that there were real reasons behind it. I really appreciate that this clinic has a neuro optometrist. It opened my eyes to something that deserves so much more attention. There are many students and adults who go through school doubting their worth or intelligence, when the real issue might be that their brain and vision are not working together the way they should. More awareness around this could change lives. I am very thankful for Dr. Liddicoat and Gwen. They were kind, patient, and genuinely made me feel understood. They explained everything clearly and helped me make sense of challenges I have carried for a long time. I am currently applying to medical school, and I finally feel hopeful. I am looking forward to starting the visual skills program and learning how to work with my visual deficits in a way that will support my goals. I feel more confident knowing that there are tools and strategies that can make a real difference. I highly recommend this clinic. They treated me with compassion and offered care that helped me understand myself in a way I never had before.
