Gaddie Eye Center

The entire staff at Gaddie Eye Center was amazing from start to finish. Richelle greeted us with a big smile! The front desk staff, Casey and Shelbey, were very kind and helpful while filling our paperwork and organizing insurance. Ryan and Dr. Gossom were so fun with our kids and educated us during the entire process. Richelle was so fun and helped my 8 year old daughter pick out her frames and made the process of buying glasses so easy and exciting! My daughter is so excited about her glasses for 3rd grade! I highly recommend Gaddie Eye Center on Springhurst!

I was recently traveling in Louisville when I realized I forgot my contacts and my glasses at home. I called Gaddie to seek some assistance and they were so helpful. Friendly staff made my sons happy while getting me squared away. 100% if I lived in the area, there's no place I'd rather go for my eye care needs. Huge props to Casey (I may be spelling it wrong, apologies) for her friendliness, but truly everyone was top notch!

Amazing experience! Brought in my nervous 2 year old for his first eye exam Scheduled next day, easy online scheduling. The tech was amazing and he made my son feel very comfortable and offered rewards. Dr. Gossom was great, fast and efficient. Filled out preschool paperwork for us quickly. Overall great experience and I definitely recommend Gaddie Eye Center in Springhurst.

Love the dr and the staff is usually nice but I am so frustrated. Had an appt today. I am a busy single mom. Got there and they told me they tried to call me but had to cancel my appt. Claimed they left a voicemail but did not leave a voicemail and I told them that and the girl just seemed annoyed. Literally only called once. No voicemail. No text. I rearranged my entire day for this appt and asked off work so it’s just frustrating that I couldn’t even be seen. I also hired a babysitter which costs money. I understand stuff happens but they should’ve left a voicemail or texted me. Not one to go out of my way to do this but the attitude from the girl upfront was my last straw today.

My visits go well and the staff is friendly, when you’re there. But anytime I’ve ever ordered anything through them and should expect a call when my items arrive - I never get a call. I always have to call myself several days after the expected call timeframe (trying to be patient). My stuff is always there just sitting. My appointments are always delayed or set back due to their lack of communication. So now I’m pretty much without glasses or my trial contacts for another 3 weeks on top of the time I’ve already waited for a call back. After my follow up appointment, I will more than likely part ways with this group.
