I was super impressed with how much care & test were done for my daughter first eye dr appointment. Everyone was super nice & Dr. Nguyen made sure my little one was well awake of everything done! Will be calling for myself & husband soon

I liked the customer service I got from the gal helping me pick my glasses, but I felt like not much information about my eyes was actually shared with me. I wouldn’t say don’t come here, but the optometrists need to do better job at explaining things to their patients. 09/02/26 (for reference)

I’ve used Grene Vision group for 15+ years. When I called to get an appointment for July 22nd, at Harry & Rock, they told me I would have to sign a self-pay waiver due to my Insurance, Tricare Prime, possibly not paying. As I understood it, I would pay my co-pay, then if Tricare didn’t pay, I would be responsible for the remaining balance. After my exam, I go to check out, and they tell me I owe $191.00. I then asked why I owed that, and I was told that I signed the self pay waiver. I was caught off guard, thinking I would just have my $39 co pay. I told them had I known this, I would not have kept the appointment. I paid, then was told they could try to submit it to my insurance, and if they paid, they could give me a credit. I called Tricare as soon as I got home, only to find out Grene Vision was in fact in network, and that I should not have been charged anything other than my co pay. I’ve spent 2 days making phone calls, to Grene Visions 3rd party billing company. I also had Tricare on the line with the billing company, only to be told it will have to be reviewed and they would let me know. I will be calling again, the third day, to check the status of my refund. I NEVER would have made the appointment had I known I would have to pay nearly $200 before they even submitted the claim to Tricare. I’m disappointed in Grene Vision for not correcting this asap. They expected their payment the day of services. Tricare has told them to submit the claim, and it would be paid. I should have been refunded as soon as they spoke with my insurance. We pay for our insurance, Grene Vision should do their part to ensure that they know which plans are in network, before they take money from people who in fact are covered. Do better Grene Vision. I tried to post with no stars, it would not let me, so I had to give one star before I could post this.
