I’m so grateful to Groton Eye Center for being the only place that was able to see me emergently when I needed urgent eye care. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Dr. Fretto was excellent—very thorough, professional, and reassuring. I truly appreciated the time and care she took to examine my eye and address my concerns. I highly recommend Groton Eye Center to anyone looking for compassionate and excellent eye care!

I love this office ! The staff is always so nice. My Doctor Nardella saved my eyes . I want to give a special shout out to Adam and Jonathan . Jonathan was so thoughtful and listen to my needs. And let’s not even talk about Adam, he cares about the patient , takes the time to help you pick the glasses even helped me with my budget. I would give it 100 stars !
There is still kindness in the world! The receptionists and doctors at Groton Eye Center helped me out while I was on vacation. So helpful and efficient! I am so lucky to have found them.
I have been a patient at Groton Eye Center for years. They are thorough, kind and helpful. Adam in the Optical part of the practice is amazing!! I have watched their inventory go from blah to WOW! I go there to see him and get new sunnies even if I don’t have a doctors appt. He is a true asset to the practice!!
Used to love going when Dr. Adrian owned this practice. There was never surprise charges. We gave the new owners a chance twice and both times they played billing games. The first time they said the pictures were a new thing they were doing as part of our eye exam so we both had pictures done and then two weeks after our appointment received a bill for those pictures that was never explained to us. We paid. This time they tried to tell me I need to get the pictures because they’re part of the appointment and I said no. So my insurance paid the eye exam. My husband was told he had to have the pictures and then was told our eye insurance won’t cover his basic eye exam because it’s now listed under a medical problem because they took the pictures which he doesn’t have a medical problem. He went in for a basic eye exam and now is being charged for something he doesn’t have. He spoke twice with billing and they said this is normal procedure. We have never had that at any other eye doctors ever before.
