My overall experience at Hahn Eye Center was deeply disappointing, especially as a first-time eyeglasses wearer. From start to finish, everything felt completely rushed. Every time I called with a question the representatives act like you’re bothering them. In-store service was no better. The entire environment feels unwelcoming and hurried. Stacy helped me when I picked up my glasses. She sat my glasses down and walked away. She came back and asked did I try them on. She didn't perform any additional checks, offer any adjustments, or take the time to sit with me and make sure everything was fitted properly. She literally just handed them to me and sent me on my way. To top it off, they gave me a case that didn't even fit the glasses. When I pointed this out, I was told they were simply out of the correct cases and had given me a sunglass case instead. The glasses were literally sliding all around the case and the case given to me had scratches! Between the lack of basic customer care, the rushed atmosphere, and zero guidance for someone getting their very first pair of glasses, I will never go back and would not recommend Hahn Eye Center to anyone.
I’ve been goin to Hahn’s for almost 10yrs now to have my glasses prescription filled. Today was my first tome actually getting an exam there. They were quick yet efficient & detailed leaving no stone unturned. You can tell they have the latest star of the art machine ls as well. I especially enjoy Jennifer who I’ve worked with many times. She’s always so pleasant & patient in helping me with my frames. I highly recommend them for all your eye care services.
Wow! Dr. Hahn is by far the best eye doctor I’ve ever seen. He quickly identified exactly what I needed for my prescription and provided an effective treatment plan for my dry eye symptoms. He took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made me feel confident in my care. I highly recommend Dr. Hahn and his entire staff. They are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and truly committed to providing outstanding patient care!
My experience at this practice in May has been the worst medically-related encounter I have had as an adult. This office made several actions that needs review and corrections. Having completed my annual eye exam and following providers recommendations, I purchased prescription eyeware to later discover the prescription exceeded my actual vision needs. The prescription glasses received noticeably worsened my vision. Practice manager Allen suggested I allow time to adjust but the vision change was apparent that this was not a matter of adjustment as opposed to an incorrect prescription. Upon follow up in June for a recheck, optometrist Stephanie Hahn clarified that at times she may need to adjust the prescription value to ensure insurance approves coverage; further explaining that too low a value would suggest no need for glasses per insurance. Her follow up assessment showed a significantly different report. With this concerning information I escalated to the practice manager requesting refund of the prescription glasses originally purchased under the misinformation. This encounter was extremely demeaning and reflected his little respect for patient care. In a patronizing tone, Allen scolded me that he has been in his profession for years and I as the patient determine my own prescription during an eye exam, not the provider. He was adamant that the office will not consider any adjustments or accommodations for the purchased glasses they continue to retain. This office has exhibited they are untrustworthy in patient care and limit patient insight to make an informed decision. An external formal complaint has also been submitted. Do better.
