This is such an unprofessional place. They call when they are already closed to tell you that your glasses have arrived. They are NEVER open when they say they are supposed to be open. The Dr. was nice to my children while getting their exams but when I was a patient here a few years ago she was so rude to me. Now I can't manage to figure out how I'm supposed to get my daughters glasses because every time I have sent someone up here or I have come up here they are CLOSED! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

Unfortunately I will be searching for a new eye doctor for my 3 children. I ordered a replacement pair of glasses for my son over a month ago was told I'd receive a text when they were in but never heard from them. I was in the area and stopped by. A lot of excuses from the lady upfront but no they didn't have my son's glasses. They stated it was because his prescription would be expiring soon so they wanted to see him for an exam first then order frames. Fine, but i never received a call, text or voicemail they claimed to have sent. This was my final straw after never being seen on time. I've left messages during business hours and never receive return calls. I've always had to just keep calling daily until I get someone. Dr. Opara is a wonderful doctor when you do finally get to see her. She's been amazing to my young children as well as my teenager but she's not the only practice in town and her office's customer service is awful.
Every single visit, I wait at least an hour to be seen even though I make appointments well in advance. They put my daughter in contacts that had to be changed every 2 weeks, but insurance will only provide 12 sets of contacts, not 24. On my last visit, I inquired about getting her into contacts that are changed monthly so that insurance would cover and I was told "Oh, those are better contacts anyway. I'm not sure why we didn't have her in those to start with". The staff is rude and impatient. They have never once called when my children's glasses or contacts arrive. I always have to do the follow up myself. If you are needing glasses, plan to wait another hour for the technician to help you. I am trying to find out if my daughter's contacts have arrived now and I have called for 2 days only to be greeted with an automated message that their mailbox is full. So...I can't get a hold of them, nor can I leave a message. Poor service all around. Avoid this place at all cost!
My oldest is 10 and has been going to Dr. Opara since she was 2. She has really helped my daughter's eyes get stronger. Great doctor. My son now goes as well. I've had a few issues here and there with waiting on glasses and sometimes having to wait a while to be seen but I've mainly had good experiences. But Dr. Opara is the star here. She has really done well with my kids!
This review is long overdue. I came in November of 2020, I was needing new glasses since mine broke. I waited for an hour until I was seen. I ordered my glasses and I got fitted for contacts as well to wear in the mean time until my glasses came in. When my glasses came in I got a call stating that they were ready for pickup. I showed up numerous times to pick them up during the hours they stated that they would be open and no one was there. No one would pick up the phones either. I finally was able to pick them up after the 4th time. When I had started wearing my glasses I realized that my prescription was wrong on them. I called left messages and no call backs. And again I would show up and no one was there. I finally gave up and wore the wrong prescription glasses and I ended up going somewhere else. I do NOT recommend this place. Very disappointing service!
