Highline Vision Center

For the past 14 months, I have been under the care of Dr. Jennifer Redmond, (optometrist), Denise Gibson (vision therapist) and Dr. Jeri Schneebeck (optometrist) at Highline Vision Center in Aurora, CO. My vision issues (strabismus and cyclotorsion causing double vision) were the result of a severe accident which resulted in a traumatic brain injury. I cannot give enough wonderful praises to these three incredible professionals for helping me get my life back. Both Dr. Schneebeck and Dr. Redmond have spent so much time to accurately assess my initial diagnosis and explain the injury to me. I have had regular progress checks which have resulted in new recommendations to continue my progress. Because Ms. Gibson is so knowledgeable, she has been a master at listening to me explain what has been occurring with my vision each week and providing exercises to help me return to my normal life. I so recommend this practice and the professionals who work here!

David was very professional, courteous, wide breadth if knowledge, relatable, and cheery when he took me thoroughly through the process. I have repeatedly been here for years but hands down he gave me the best personal service I have experienced. I am into service so I do know what excellent is.

I normally see Dr. Bretz who is a great Dr in my opinion. She is very caring , conscientious, pleasant & thorough. She listens carefully to concerns of any eye issues you may have. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Scott Theodore was cavalier and careless during my eye exam. All the lenses shown for my right eye were blurry and I often wasn't able to say which one was better, but he didn't take the time to try and test more carefully. After getting home I realized that the prescription he issued has no correction for astigmatism in the right eye, even though my previous one did (I had forgotten to bring a copy of the old one with me). Given that astigmatism never goes away, this underscores that the prescription is inaccurate, and, indeed, the glasses I had made based on it are no better than my old glasses. I now have to go for another eye exam to try and get an accurate prescription, which is extremely frustrating, as this had been the first time in 7 years that I had actually managed to go to the optometrist and it ended up being a complete waste of time (and money, since the new glasses are unuseable).

The optometrists at highline are some of the best I have seen. They are extremely knowledgeable, and helpful with any questions you might have. The customer service is also over the top. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking out an eye doctor.
