I’m new to Bulverde and needed to get set up with an eye doctor in this area. Hill County Vision provides excellent service with a friendly environment. Everyone was warm and welcoming and Dr. Forrest was the same! She’s fantastic and took time to discuss my eye health and what options were available for me. 10/10 recommend!!

Great place! Got my eyes examined, got the contacts I needed, and they even helped me save money by showing me how much my insurance world cover on contacts versus eyeglasses. Friendly staff! Great office environment!
Very good experience all around. Staff was extremely friendly, professional, and informative. The office is set up nicely, everything was extremely clean and overall a very comfortable and inviting office. You won’t be disappointed. Your eyes are in great care here.
I’ve been going to the same eye doctor’s office for about 8 years, maybe even longer, but after today’s experience, I will not be returning. I purchased two pairs of glasses at the end of March — one pair for my computer and one pair for everyday use. Since picking them up, I’ve had trouble seeing my computer and phone, I’ve been squinting, and I’ve been getting headaches. My old glasses work perfectly fine, so I scheduled an appointment to have the new ones checked. This morning, someone from the office called me and immediately questioned why I waited so long to come back. She told me my prescription was old, that I was past their 90-day policy, and that I would basically need to start over and pay for new glasses all over again. I was confused because I had just purchased these glasses recently. After I questioned the dates, she finally checked and realized I was correct. Instead of apologizing, she blamed someone else in the office for giving her the wrong information. That was unprofessional and unnecessary. Before calling a patient and speaking to them that way, the office should double-check their own records. Mistakes happen, but the way it was handled was rude and disappointing, especially after being a loyal patient for years. It’s unfortunate because I’ve always been happy with my experiences there. One bad interaction can really change everything. I hate that it came to this, but it is what it is.
The customer service is good but the quality of their product is terrible. One of the legs from the frames came undone within couple months of purchase. I went in to see if they could fix it and said I had to buy another frame. I can understand if it was my fault, but if the frame was defective from the beginning they should be able to replace it.They prefer to lose 2 customers (my husband and I) over a $99 dollar frame. It’s too bad because I liked the place. Oh well, I have to look for another optometrist office.
