Houston Eye Associates provided outstanding customer service! A special thank you to Ms. Rhonda for making our visit such a wonderful experience. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and had a smile on her face the entire time. She made my mother feel comfortable and welcomed while giving us honest, helpful advice. Employees like Rhonda are the reason businesses succeed. She truly deserves recognition and in my opinion, a well-earned raise. Thank you, Rhonda, for your kindness and exceptional care!

Two stars because everyone was super nice, but both my husband and I had appointments here in the last week on different days at different times. My husband had the first appointment of the day and waited more than 40 minutes to be seen. I had an appointment at noon and had to leave at 1pm because I still hadn’t been seen. There were multiple patients waiting in the wait room who were also commenting on the extensive wait. This is so disrespectful to people’s time. There was no communication about the wait at any point either.

Brought our son here for an appointment that we made 6 months ago. Despite knowing that we were coming for the past 6 months no one asked us for a referral number until the night before. Our primary care doctor faxed the number but when we arrived today they wouldn’t let us be seen. This is the SECOND time this has happened in a row where they wasted our time and refused to see us. Not only that we let them know they gave us 2 boxes of expired contact lenses at the last visit and rather than replacing them the receptionist just threw them in the trash and said ok that’s taken care of. Unbelievably poor service!

I will never come back to this location again. They do not respect your time by making you wait over an hour past your appointment time to be seen. Then, the doctor barely looks at you during the exam and is halfway out the door during his explanation of your condition even when you’re trying to ask questions he is partially in the hallway trying to walk away. The only decent person i encountered was the tech. I will not be back and i wish I’d known how awful this location was before i booked my appointment here.

I checked in digitally. I arrived for my appointment and was told I was all checked in just sit and wait for my name called. I was @20 minutes early for appointment and 20 minutes AFTER my time i asked if I was still in line cause new people were being called first. I finally was called 45 minutes after my time!! Then placed in a room where i waited over 20 more minutes!! It ended up an HOUR PAST !!! That is why I was not happy. Also the first nurse that called me must have been having a bad day. Not pleasant, not saying sorry for waiting, nothing. Second nurse i saw was friendly and got the doctor right away. My appointment was 10:15am. I was finally called @ 11am. I opened the exam room door and stood in the doorway because it seemed i had been forgotten again. That's when the 2nd friendly nurse came to help. First visit was great. This time missed the mark.
