UPDATE: I picked up my "width adjusted" lenses today. Sunny was right! The wider area of magnification is perfect! 😃 😊 Thank you Insight EyeCare – Cibolo, Texas! End of year eye exam and new prescription glasses were handled seamlessly. Now, when doing a project requiring me to reach with both arms slightly to my side, head turned to the opposite side, to see my hands, I am not able to focus my corrective lenses. No depth perception. Very, very frustrating…!!! This was due to my frame selection. I returned to Insight EyeCare – Cibolo, and discussed this matter with Sunny. After reviewing my needs/issue , Sunny identified a solution. The choice of a different frame allowed the width of the corrective lens to be extended, a lot. This will allow me to see to the side of my lenses while working with my hands. (If I haven’t described my situation clearly, I do apologize. I can say my tools didn’t get launched to another zip code.) Sunny always demonstrates courteous and professional behavior and sometimes laughs, a bit, when I tell a silly story. Dr. Jennifer Barondes completed my eye exam with care and precision. Dr. Jennifer is the consummate professional with patient care exceptionalism. I’m 49 years old, and I’ll admit it++ I walked into my eye exam with the same nervous energy I get when my kids ask, “Dad, can we talk?” But the moment I stepped into the office, the whole place felt so homey and welcoming that my nerves started to clock out early. The doctor was incredibly patient, took the time to actually listen, and made sure every step of the exam matched my expectations. No rushing, no guessing, no “you’ll be fine, sir”—just real care and clear explanations. As a dad, I appreciate when someone explains things in a way that doesn’t make me feel like I need to Google it later. The entire team is professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure you leave seeing better—and feeling better—than when you walked in. If you’re even a little nervous about your eye exam, trust me: this is the place where your worries go to take a nap. Highly recommend. My only regret is not coming sooner… but hey, better late than never. My eyes can finally confirm that my kids do leave the lights on.

I have been with Dr. Barondes for a few years now. She and her staff are wonderful to visit. They offer a variety of glasses for men, women, and children. Prices vary depending on the brand and if you want to add extra such as transition lenses or blue light blocking. The waiting area has a tv and drinks. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I was able to get scheduled for my exam the following week. For an annual eye exam, I was in and out in about 40 minutes.

The scheduling and exam was fast. I came back to order and purchase glasses. I was told two weeks. It's been three weeks and I have not heard anything back. I called today and was told they are at the lab and will be at least another week. I asked for a reason for the delay and was told the person to answer that is not in today. I also asked for that person to call me when available. Four days later I have not received a call.

Wonderful office! Staff is kind and helpful and my experience was good. Dr. Jennifer Barondes was great and very personable.
