Insight Vision Center Optometry

I saw Dr. Schramm today and my visit was phenomenal. He is so detailed and explains everything clearly. He cares for his patients deeply. As a ohysician myself, I trust him and his team whole heartedly. I will recommend all my patients to come to this place. Sam the optician is also really great at helping me pick glasses.

We had a great experience at Insight Vision Center with my daughter’s eye doctor and the vision therapy team. The doctors are very professional and truly excellent at what they do! The staff is kind, patient, and very welcoming to kids. The in-office vision therapy is engaging and tailored to each child, and the therapists make it fun and encouraging. We’ve already seen great progress, and my daughter actually looks forward to her visits. Highly recommend Insight Vision Center!

I cannot recommend Dr. Lam highly enough. I was her patient for many years while I lived in Orange County, and even after moving away, she is still the first person I turn to whenever I have an eye concern. That alone says everything about the trust I have in her. What makes Dr. Lam truly extraordinary is the combination of her exceptional medical judgment and the genuine care she has for her patients. Throughout the years, she has always taken the time to listen carefully, explain things thoroughly, and make sure I understood every option. I have never once felt rushed. She approaches every situation with incredible thoughtfulness, compassion, and professionalism. Most recently, I had an urgent eye issue after a contact lens injury that resulted in a corneal scratch. Even though I am no longer a local patient and reached out unexpectedly on a Friday night via phone, Dr. Lam responded with the same kindness and generosity that she always has. She carefully reviewed my situation, gave thoughtful guidance, and helped me navigate conflicting opinions from other physicians (entirely for free!!!). The fact that she was willing to do that speaks volumes about the type of doctor she is. She truly cares about her patients long after they leave her office. Over the years, I have met many physicians, and I can honestly say that I trust Dr. Lam’s professional judgment more than anyone else in the world when it comes to my eyes. She has earned that trust through years of consistently excellent care, sound medical decision-making, and an unwavering commitment to doing what is best for her patients. Beyond being an outstanding physician, she is simply a wonderful human being. She is kind, patient, empathetic, and incredibly generous with her time. In today’s healthcare environment, where it can often feel difficult to find a doctor who truly partners with you, Dr. Lam is one of those rare physicians who makes you feel heard, cared for, and genuinely important. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found her years ago, and even though I no longer live nearby, I still consider her my trusted eye doctor. If I could give more than five stars, I would without hesitation. Any patient who has the opportunity to be under Dr. Lam’s care should consider themselves extremely lucky. She is simply exceptional.

We drive an hour and across 3 counties to come for visits here. The doctors are patient, thorough, and are truly making the best decisions with their patients in mind. I would highly recommend to try this place first for contacts, eyeglass prescription, or eye health needs.

Had a great experience at Insight. I came in to try to get a solution for a failed cataract surgery. The staff and the Dr’s were amazing and had a super fun time with them, unfortunately we couldn’t address the issue as wanted, however they were able to figure out a way to help UCI diagnose what the issue could be.
