I had an amazing experience at Jabi Optics. Bill and his wife, the owners, run a truly customer-first shop. They took excellent care of me and both of my daughters, going above and beyond to ensure we found the right frames and lenses. The level of attention, expertise, and genuine care is hard to find. ★★★★★ Worth the 6-Hour Round Trip! I drove 3 hours each way from Asheville to High Point, and it was worth every mile. I needed lenses for expensive Oakley frames and didn't want to mail them out. After striking out with 8 different places around Asheville that had months-long wait times or restrictions on new patients, I stumbled across a Reddit thread discussing the lack of eye doctors in North Carolina, which ultimately pointed me toward JABI Optics. I ended up opting for direct self-pay since insurance didn't cover my specific lens customization, and Bill Hall's rates are so incredibly reasonable that it made total sense to make the trip. The best part? Bill has an on-site machine and crafted two separate pairs of lenses from scratch while I waited. I wasn't even there for an hour! He didn't rush the appointment, spent genuine time helping me try frames, and gave me clear insights into my vision options. Phenomenal service, unbeatable value, and elite turnaround time. Absolute 10/10 experience!

I found him by word of mouth and I’m so glad I did. My daughter glasses were broke and I needed something fast and same day. He made that happen for me. I love that he stays open a few times a week until 7. Great for working parents. He’s very patient, professional, personable and have really great prices. I brought a pair of vintage designer glasses to a chain glasses shop and they were worried they might damage the delicate frames, so they sent me to Bill at Jabi Optics. He couldn't have been more kind, professional, and skilled. My glasses turned out perfectly, and the custom lenses arrived quickly. His prices can't be beat!
