Dr. Gilbert himself is great and was very nice and accommodating as I had never been to an eye doctor before. However, everything else about the experience was awful. The longest wait times I've ever experienced at a doctor's office before, unwarranted charges where I ended up paying over $700 across two visits to multiple different institutions. I had brought up one of the charges to Dr. Gilbert and he was kind enough to talk to the front desk inquiring where these charges came from. Those were dropped, however a month later I saw $400 in charges from Tuft's and Dr. Gilbert's office in my MyChart. After challenging I had no choice to pay them. I wish I could have spoken to a human to understand where these charges were coming from as I had already paid $350 between the two organizations from my 2 visits. While I am happy with the service I cannot afford to go back after this. For reference I am well insured and have never paid more than $150 out of pocket for single visit. Very frustrating and stressful.

Excellent provider if you can deal with the ego. I only charged providers to have someone closer to home otherwise I would still be a patient 😁😁😁👍👍👍

Dr. Gilbert and his entire staff are among the best when it comes to creating a friendly, pleasant, caring yet professional medical office environment. The office staff greet you with a warm and genuine welcome. They are always happy to help whether you are in the office or calling on the phone. They will do their best to accommodate while scheduling an appointment. There is very little wait time after after arriving for scheduled appointments. Dr. Gilbert is kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional. Each visit he has always greeted me with a smile and a warm welcome. He is very attentive and takes the time to listen as well as answer any questions or concerns I might have. The medical assistants are very thorough while gathering medical information as well as performing any eye tests or procedures required. They too are caring, gentle and knowledgeable. Overall the doctors, assistants and front office staff are a special group of people that appear to be more like family than co-workers. They all do their best to make the patients feel cared for and welcome.

I started seeing Dr. Demiri earlier this year and it has been one of the best doctor experiences I’ve had! I’ve been wearing contacts for at least 10 years and developed some type of allergy to my monthly lenses. I saw another eye doctor and felt my concerns were brushed off. Dr. Demiri listened to my concerns, performed a thorough exam, and gave me an action plan to figure out the issues. She is kind and professional and I would highly recommend her!!

My husband and I have been with Dr. Gilbert for almost 20 years. Although we have moved to the south of Boston, we continue to remain a patient there. He is the BEST!! He is very detail oriented and - in our opinion - extremely knowledgeable!! His wonderful staff is also friendly, efficient and vey helpful. You are in very capable hands with Dr. Jason Gilbert!!
