Today I had an appointment with Dr. Kimber Mapili. The check in went well and Randy the nurse was nice enough however I was soured by my interaction with Dr. Mapili. Dr. Mapili became irritated with me because I wasn't following her instructions precisely during the exam. This young lady is the personification of why people avoid going to the doctor. Let's hope that with time and experience Dr. Mapili learns some manners.

The doctors at this office just work for their paycheck - I went in with heart problems, told them that is what the appointment was for, and then…their EKG machine was down…..FOR A WEEK. and so I wasted time and money for my heart appt to be for nothing. and then my doctor just asked if I have anxiety. every month I have to track down my doctor to get my prescriptions refilled. They don’t refill prescriptions for the weekend, even if the request was done midweek. It’s extremely frustrating. I don’t know what the solution is. But the people at the desk are usually nice. But that doesn’t matter since, my doctor doesn’t care for me as a patient, at all. I will be moving doctors offices ASAP.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this office. After going through a miscarriage—a very stressful and emotional time—I felt there was little to no bedside manner or compassion shown throughout the process. Important communication felt delayed, and I had to repeatedly follow up just to get a return-to-work letter, which added even more stress when I was already struggling. When I expressed concern, I was told to “be respectful,” which felt dismissive rather than understanding. Overall, I did not feel supported or cared for as a patient, and this was one of the hardest times of my life.
Do not recommend. This practice runs on the hallucination that they provide “coordinated care” yet their PCP's are turning in resignations without providing why and four months down the line, two weeks before the patients appointment, Annie calls to send patients into oblivion because they do not have PCP's that can take over. Ridiculous. Then Karen, the receptionist that patients get sent to sounds like she is on speed. I do not recommend this place. Save your time your health and schedule on another practice.
My mom Catherine Cataldo came here for years but was very sick the last few months of her life. Dr Malik and all the staff in the office were very caring. Many times I had to call the office for medication changes etc etc and the staff really stepped up there game (especially Marybeth ) Thank you alll!
