Joy T Nakabayashi OD

Dr. Nakabayashi has been my daughter’s and my optometrist for the past 18 years. A few weeks ago, I called her office because something didn’t feel right with my eye. I had already seen three doctors that week with complaints of what I thought was a pink eye or something. Thankfully, I was able to get an appointment quickly. Within just a minute, Dr. Nakabayashi could tell something was seriously wrong. She immediately referred me a specialist. Her quick actions saved my vision. I could tell she was worried and she cared. While the recovery process will take time, I’m incredibly grateful to say—I can still see. Thank you and God bless.

I love Dr. Nakabayashi. She and her staff are warm and personable as well as extremely efficient and punctual -- and they seem to have the latest equipment, which makes things easy. I seldom have to wait more than a minute or two to start the appointment. My mother has been seeing her for years and really likes her too.

Dr. Nakabayashi is a great person that is patient with her patients. I hear good things about Joy and her office, but I personally have not had a good experience with this office. I have asked if I may order contacts, and have a pair to go home with, and was denied the pair to go home with . Everytime I ask something, I get the answer " oh we can't do that" or "no sorry" or my personal favorite, "we are to busy right now", even when it comes to little things like getting my prescription. The doctor has hours that doesn't fit my schedule but may fit yours. She is in the office about 1 day a week. =/

Thanks so much, I was injured in bike vs car accident. My. 2 week old glass frames were broken, they put lenses in new frames, and did as warranty repair, really helped me out. Great people!!

Very friendly and professional staff. Dr. Joy was wonderful. New patient appointment went smoothly and took under an hour.
