I’ve been using Kennedy & Perkins for well over 15 years. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Flor for my annual exam. Once Dr. Flor finished my exam, she recommended their OptiLift eye treatment. I suffer from Bell’s Palsy, which has caused extreme eye dryness and irritation. After completing the first two sessions of OptiLift, I began to notice an extreme improvement. The irritation and dryness had been reduced tremendously. By the completion of all four sessions, I visibly noticed strengthened muscle tone and reduced puffiness. The OptiLift sessions were quick and comfortable. Dr. Flor was AMAZING. She made me feel exceptionally comfortable throughout the entire process and thoroughly explained everything. I would recommend OptiLift for anyone suffering from Bell’s Palsy or any eye issue which causes chronic dry eye symptoms. 5 stars out of 5 for me!

I can't recommend this place, despite the fact that Dr. Flor is very good and a very nice person too. The reason is one of the opticians, whom I've interacted with three times and had three negative experiences. This person is just not a good listener and is not pleasant to work with. The first time she talked me into a set of expensive lenses that I didn't want and that didn't do what she told me they would do, which then had to be replaced. The second time she initially refused to let me see the doctor again to reassess my prescription, which did indeed need to be changed. The third time, when I mentioned that my glasses were very flat (by which I meant optically flat, because of the high index) and were taking a while to get used to, she responded by bowing them *outwards*, which I didn't ask for and which made them fit really badly. Afte three strikes, I won't go back. Luckily I found another optician in town who was professional and a good listener and who fixed my glasses for me. If you're working in a customer-facing role, it's important to be able to listen to people, to be responsive to their concerns, and hopefully to be friendly while doing so. A person who is not can really be detrimental to a business, and that is the case here.
Dr. Flor was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Her explanations were comprehensible and helpful for understanding my eye health. Each decision she made was explained to me quite well and she seemed very much like a natural patient advocate!
Dr. Flor is wonderful. She patiently explains what each test entails and what to expect so there are no surprises. She's very gentle and softspoken, best eye doctor experience I've had. 10/10 highly recommend.
I loved my visit to Kennedy and Perkins in New Haven! Exceptional customer service from everyone. Dr. Flor is a gem and gave me the most thorough, thoughtful, and caring eye exam I’ve had in years! Everyone - from Dr. Flor to the sales specialists - takes their time so you don’t feel rushed or like you are in an assembly line. They offer friendly, gracious, compassionate service!
