The store is absolutely beautiful and has a cozy vibe! It smells amazing when you walk in and the service is so knowledgeable and welcoming! I wasn’t expecting to buy but walked out of that rain 2 pairs of glasses. I’m excited I got one transitional one! It’s a must visit! They have a variety of glasses and great selections from designer brands as well as their own!

I LOVE this place - totally randomly saw this from outside - walked in and was amazed with space first and then the variety of brands and glasses. Service was so professional and ladies that work there know everything there is so you can ask them anything. Got 2 pairs for me and my wife both with transition lenses - and i’ll be deff coming back here often.
Dr Visanji and her assistant Jessica were professional, friendly, and super helpful when it came to every aspect of my visit. I also picked small frames with a progressive lens and they were probably the best progressives I’ve ever had. Perfectly measured, and positioned. I didn’t have any issues getting used to them - even after being without my glasses for several months.
They are amazing. This is my favorite doctors visit. They make it easy and fun… and their glasses selection is top notch.
Streamlined and fantastic experience at the newly opened location by Dr. Visanji and team. I was a previous customer when she was at Zak, so I was happy to see her move to a convenient location near public transportation (closer to me 👏🏼) and design/open her own space with a clean aesthetic. I had no idea when I made the appointment of the grand opening. The store has tech forward eye imaging tools that I enjoyed previously (e.g. Nikon machine and I’m a photographer), with the new addition of a console to control the lenses in the traditional “cover one eye” tests. It helped with an accurate eye exam, which helped correct a bad prescription I had at another optometrist, which was too strong and strained my eyes. I didn’t purchase glasses like I did last time, but I could see in the shelf she partnered with some known fashion brands (I noticed Tag Heuer), and I also know she has her own eyewear line she designed. I opted in to the newest daily contacts she recommended with blue light blocking (she used herself), and I was able to try them out with a sample - they were very soft/unintrusive. Dr. Sophia and team are very personable, I always have great conversations during the eye exam that makes the visit fun. We’ve shared laughs as millenials and I appreciated her advice about building a brand. If you’re in lower Manhattan, I’d highly recommend stopping by and having her as your optometrist. I’ve tried 3 other offices in lower Manhattan and with my same insurance coverage this probably the best experience and most advanced technology I’ve had thus far. For new Acuvue customers, there is a rebate on contacts. An aspect I’m indifferent to, but the store had a cozy luxury feel. I had previous establishments give me the wrong prescriptions and have far fewer options for fashionable glasses frames and acuvue contact options. I’m happy with the frames I bought at her previous location. I was also able to book through ZocDoc, which made the appointment very straightforward and uploading my provider information prior to the visit was simple.
