I recently was diagnosed with a vision issue, cataracts. I was referred to Filutowski Eye Institute. Dr. Siripong Rojanasthien completed my initial consultation, thanks to his comprehensive exam, testing found a retinal hole in my left eye, he wanted to be sure that this would not be an issue so they referred me to Dr Cunningham at Florida Retina Institute. The did a laser surgery to repair the hole and I was cleared for the cataract surgery. I checked in at 2pm, surgery at 2:30pm. The surgery staff is fantastic. Knowledgeable in their field Dr. Siripong Rojanasthien performed the surgery on Tuesday 6/2/2026. My initial, left eye uncorrected eyesight was 20/200. At the next day followup, 6/3/2026 18 hours after the surgery my eyesight was 20/25. With missing just one letter, 4 of 6, I correctly got 3 of 6. I was stunned. The technologist stated it's possible my vision would continue to improve since the eye was still in the process of healing. I cannot stress their attention to detail and professionalism. I spent two years researching eye surgeons and learning everything I could about the ICL procedure since I wasn’t a candidate for LASIK due to thin corneas. Dr Oliver Filotowski did a fantastic job with my cataract surgery. The before and after difference is life changing. My vision went from a hazy 20/200 to a bright clear 20/20. I've got a new appreciation for the bright clear colors I can now see. The staff are exceptional. Jasline did a fantastic job with helping me schedule my appointments. The process was comfortable and professional throughout.

I was apprehensive about having cataract surgery until I met the doctors at Filutowski eye institute. A very professional and caring team that helped me feel comfortable and way more relaxed than I was at arrival. Everything was fine, just like I was told. The appointment went in the estimates amount of time. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. My initial eye surgery went so smoothly. The staff were friendly and professional and made sure I was well prepared. Dr. Filotowski completed the surgery so smoothly I barely knew it happened. Day after I am doing great!
