Lamm David Eye Care

The doctors are excellent and provide great care, but the doctor's time management needs improvement. Our appointment was scheduled for 8:30 a.m., and we weren't seen until 9:25 a.m. I understand that delays can happen, but waiting nearly an hour is difficult, especially when patients are expected to arrive on time or risk having their appointment rescheduled. I do appreciate that another doctor stepped in to see us since we had already rearranged other appointments for the day. That was greatly appreciated. The quality of care is the reason I would return, but I hope future visits are more respectful of patients' time.

The eye exam itself was excellent. The optometrist was thorough, professional, and easy to talk to. That part of the visit was a 5. The glasses side of the practice was a different story. Selection was limited and the staff treating the optical area felt more like a sales floor than a place to get a good pair of glasses. After 40 years of wearing eyeglasses, I have never been charged extra just to polish the bevels (edges) of the lenses. They wanted $30 for that. That’s not a premium service—it’s a normal finishing step that has always been included. An unexpected add-on like that, on top of already high frame and lens prices, feels like nickel-and-diming. I left feeling like the medical care was solid and the retail side was not. I’ll go back for the doctor if needed, but I’ll take the prescription elsewhere for frames and lenses.

I had such a wonderful experience at this office! Misty, the optician who helped me with my glasses, was incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly. She helped me pick out the perfect frames and made the entire fitting process feel seamless and easy. I will definitely be going back and requesting her again for my next pair! Aside from my positive experience with Misty, the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating — especially since I brought my seven-month-old daughter with me. They made the visit comfortable and stress-free. Dr. David does an excellent job explaining everything in great detail and making sure you fully understand your exam and results. The office itself is modern, clean, and absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!

Lamm David Eye Care is incredible! Here’s why: First, I called at 9:45 in the morning (yesterday) and asked for an appointment. The awesome lady on the phone said “next available was 10 o’clock in the morning” THE same day! It seemed too good to be true… is this gonna be a Telehealth appointment I asked? She laughed and said no, we have three full-time eye doctors on staff. AWESOME!!! Second, I arrived 15 minutes later and was greeted by the staff at Lamm David Eye Center… Everyone working there was friendly, attentive, intelligent and motivated. The patient intake was fast, simple, and effective! Crystal, administered the technical eye tests and later taught me how to put in and take out contacts. She was helpful and very patient through out. Third, Dr. Lamm David is on point! Smart, engaging, and takes an information-forward approach regarding eye exams. For example, an eye exam can reveal serious health issues before they become a bigger problem later. And finally, Misty, she is a frame fit pro! She helped me find a couple of options that look really work and fit well! Go check them out…you won’t be disappointed!

Always a friendly and pleasant experience . The staff is always friendly and efficient. The office is beautiful and always clean. We are previous patients of Ashley,s dad. Ashley did a remarkable job when she took over the practice. I know he is very proud. She is very friendly and knowledgeable . I recommend her to people always.
