I purchased glasses at the Greenwood location with Kathy, and she was amazing! Her expertise, patience, and kindness were above and beyond! I look forward to working with her in the future!

I have seen Dr Halsey for years and am highly satisfied with him and all the staff at the clinic. I have catarac surgery by Dr Lanter. I paid $1500 extra to have both near and far sight corrected. The near sighted correction did not work. I still need reading glasses for anything close up. This is extremely disappointing and I have not gone back.

I will just say this, loud and clear, I have never been so comfortable at a doctor’s office till my insurance company transferred me to Lanter Eye Care. They truly care about my comfortability and health. I would especially like to give props to Kathy! She is amazing and blessing to this community. Thank you, Lanter, for all the hard work and dedication you have for your patients.

I do not normally write reviews. I am new to the area and needed both a medical and vision Eye exam, which for insurance reasons could not be done at the same time. Dr Vangets did a great job with the medical eye exam, but the vision eye exam went terribly wrong. I was there for almost 3 hour, the assistant was rude, I had to repeat a lot of testing that was not necessary. At the end of it, the prescription I was given was wrong. I ended up getting glasses at Costco, since my glasses there would have cost over $ 1100. ( I have never had glasses cost this much). But since the prescription was wrong I cannot really use the new glasses. Staff was not helpful when I called back. I will not be going back

I needed cataract surgery and had an appt with Dr Lanter x3. I saw him once. The other time he cancelled due to an emergency. The other time I waited 2 hours to see him and finally I had to leave and get to work. He made lots of claims about possible improvements if my end result was not adequate. I requested he call me to discuss , never did, sent him an email and again no response. I have been seeing Dr Halsey and he is a great doc but not a surgeon. I now need a capsulotomy and will need to find another surgeon as I am no longer comfortable with the level of service Dr Lanter provides.
