On July 11, 2026, my husband and I drove an hour from Ridgefield, Connecticut, to the LensCrafters location in Middletown after meeting Amanda, the Assistant Manager from the Middletown location, who had been filling in at the Danbury Fair Mall store during our previous visit. Amanda was truly exceptional—knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly helpful—and her professionalism left such a positive impression on us that we felt the drive to Middletown would be well worth it. After our disappointing experience at the Danbury location, where we were denied access to a restroom despite being patients, visiting the Middletown store was a refreshing and welcome contrast. From the moment we walked through the door, we were warmly greeted by the store manager and Daniella, the licensed optician. Every member of the team demonstrated outstanding professionalism, courtesy, knowledge, and genuine care for their patients. From the manager to Daniella, to Dr. Miller, and the technicians, it was evident that this location is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. Daniella is an incredible asset to LensCrafters. Her passion for her profession was evident in every interaction. She took the time to patiently explain each step of the process, answered all our questions thoroughly, and ensured we felt informed and comfortable throughout our visit. Her expertise, combined with her warmth, kindness, and genuine compassion, made our experience truly memorable. It is rare to encounter a team that consistently delivers this level of professionalism and customer care. The Middletown LensCrafters staff exemplifies what "outstanding" patient service should look like.
