This is one of the places that jumps to their default answer “No” to everything! I came in to get a copy of a prescription, just to be treated like a nuance, saying I will be charged $25 for the next request before they even assist me! One time some associate (obviously new) said I could not get a printed hardcopy but instead had to take a photo of her screen with my phone! She refused to print a copy. Outrageous. A more senior associate came by and corrected her. To sum up my experience… Lenscrafter Menlo Park = default “no” answer, even when it makes no sense.

Staff is not only unhelpful but new hire just sat without trying to help. Another customer just walked out. I came for an adjustment to glasses purchased less than a month ago after. While being adjusted they tried to upscale me an additional protection plan. This is not the service I’ve had in the past

I've been coming here for years because i like my optician there, and I also always buy glasses from this location because of the convenience. One thing I always liked about lens crafters is how they would always help with adjustment or nose pad replacements if you needed it no matter the location you bought it from. I had come in for my yearly exam and learned I needed a new pair with prescription but had plan to come back another day to pick out new lenses. I even mentioned to my optician i needed and adjustment and she said they could help me with that at the front like they had always in the past. As I was being checked out I asked if they could help with adjustment since they had recently started bothering, my nose sales person told me they don't do that and she doesn't know how. I mentioned I bought them there less than a year ago and I had gotten them adjusted with no problem. She then got on the computer look it up on the computer if it was true then proceeded to tell me that i could pick out a replacement frame for $50 dollars. I asked if that would include prescription she went to talk to another gentlemen and the answer was no. I mentioned how I had always gotten adjustments no problem from this location and but she kept bringing up the $50 dollar frames. I replied there's no point in getting new frames if I have to get new lenses anyways. Then she said that my prescription is the same, I'm like its not I just got a new one today. So then I asked for nose pads replacement, at this time a gentlemen came over and adjusted the frame a little. And as i was leaving I mentioned how I had always came back later and chose my new frames, he added that they could help me find new frames. Like seriously dude you're more interested in pushing frames on me than helping me get an adjustment on my current pair. I was the only person at the floor at the time as well so not like it was busy. I will still see my optician here, but will be taking my prescription and buying my glasses elsewhere from now on.

I came to Lens Crafters needing to get my lenses put into my new frames, and John was very helpful and quick! He got it done in less than 5 minutes and did it for free! I definitely will be returning - the service was great and you can tell they care about their customers.

Stay away. One of the worst places I've been. They clearly don't value your time. I went in for an eye exam, but before even conducting the test, they were pushing me to select frames. How could they know whether I would even need glasses before the exam? After wasting 30 minutes, I simply walked out. Never again.
