I found a great pair of glasses today at the Lens Crafters near Northgate. Had a wonderful experience with Josie who helped my husband and me choose our glasses and the right lenses. So many choices to make sure that you have the right fit etc.

The eye exam took long time. I need to wait for doctor and staff between steps. Waiting time is so long. Much longer than other places. I asked the staff how long for the whole process and she told me 20mins. My appointment at 5pm and the exam finished at 6pm. I give 3 stars as the doctor is nice

Two issues and a positive. - 1. When ordering a pair of glasses, I typically expect that the people working there have the experience to tell me “hey, if you’d like, this frame comes in a smaller size which may fit you better. Want to try?” Or when I pick up the glasses from the store after they arrive, having a human size check them with me, ask if they need any adjustments, and make said adjustments as needed. This shop did neither, unfortunately. So I ended up with a pair way too big on my face. The option for a smaller size was only presented to me upon asking to return them within the 30 days satisfaction guarantee window. I am grateful that they had this option but I do wish that there was a little more care put in to it from the start instead. 2. (Positive) The people I worked with were all generally kind individuals who did answer any questions and help whenever possible. They were real nice neighborhood folks. 3. I somewhat understand having AI Glasses on display in the shop since they are sold there. But I found it incredibly uncomfortable that staff working with clients/patients were wearing always on AI glasses. This does not feel safe nor secure for client/patient information. HIPPA? You look from my medical documentation to my physical face and this is considered protecting client information? I felt least comfortable to interact with whichever staff member was wearing those. I share this as constructive feedback as I do believe and hope they do better.

I had a great experience at this location. It’s very convenient because they have Dr. Stephen Nevett and Associates on site, so you can get your eye exam and glasses all in one place. I chose this location mainly for the convenience, and the pricing is within the normal range for the area. Remark that Barry Olivia took care of me and provided excellent service. He gave me very helpful advice, showing me options ranging from the most expensive lenses to more affordable ones, and clearly explaining the differences. He really listened to my needs and helped me choose what would work best for my specific situation. After I received my glasses, I went back for an adjustment because the arms felt a bit tight. Barry handled it and did a great job. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing by how carefully he adjusted them and how he evaluated both the frame fit and the shape of my head. Overall, very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive service. Highly recommended!
