Lymer Vision

Lymer Vision is number one. My wife and I had a great experience with them yesterday. We go to them every year for good reason. Dr Lymer is thorough and professional as well as good humored. I'm very impressed with Dr. Lymer and his staff. They are all extremely kind and professional. Dr. Lymer takes time to answer all my questions and explain the outcome of my testing. They offer a wide assortment of frames and will help you get to the price point you're comfortable with. Highly recommend!

I chose this doctor based on the reviews, website, and recommendations. I hadn't been to an eye doctor in almost 20yrs and was having a hard time driving at night so I knew I needed glasses. I was told I was near sighted, had astigmatism & had cataracts. Wow, thats a big diagnosis for someone pretty young, but okay. When I went to ask questions, inquire about what could have caused this, what can I do to prevent, what does this mean for the future...I was met with short answers and not a lot of information for someone with a head full of worries. This was also the same attitude I was met with at the front desk initially when I told them I was self paying with no insurance. To finish off this unpersonable visit, the lady I met with to try on glasses left me on my own with dilated eyes to pick out what I wanted, no help given. I felt bamboozled at every turn, and didnt understand what everyone was raving about online...a very expensive day for a heavy diagnosis, an unpleasant doctor, and terrible fitting glasses that I ended up not wearing at all. Im writing this review 15 months after the fact, as I just went to my newest eye doctor today to get a second opinion on this cataract bomb....low and behold the new doc didnt see any such thing. This was the icing on the cake to share my experience, as I wouldn't recommend this eye doctor for a multitude of reasons. Edit: While I appreciate the offer of reaching out to fix the issue, an incorrect email is listed....???

You will not find a more personal, professional practice than Lymer Vision. Dr Lymer is very friendly and will take his time to explain things to you, and is attentive to your specific needs/wants. His office staff are as professional as can be, and they’ll work with you to make sure you get the glasses or contacts that are right for you. I’ve been coming here for years and I won’t go anywhere else.
