Lyons Family Eye Care

Hands down the BEST family Eye Care office in town. I have moved three times over the last 8 or so years, and I will always come see Dr. Lyons no matter how far away I live. The staff here is so friendly, and I feel like they are always looking out for me with the best pair of glasses, ease of ordering contacts, and even making sure my little one was comfortable during her first eye doctor visit. (They have a play area for kids to hang out!) If you are looking for a doctor's office that is friendly, accommodating, and doesn't trick you with pricing, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Lyons! You will not be disappointed! Bonus: They are family-owned!

I loved my experience at Lyons. Dr. Cohen is a professional and he’s also very friendly. They have great equipment that makes dilated eye exam a breeze. He showed me pictures of my retina, optic nerve and blood vessels. It was the best experience I had!

We were thrilled to work with such an easy eye appointment for my 5 year old and myself. Imaging was an extra fee (maybe $39?) but it was worth doing, imo, with my aging eyes. My daughter was able to choose from letters or shapes and animals to figure out how her eye sight was. She was great the entire appointment and left happy, especially since she got to watch a movie in the exam room with me. I am happy to recommend Lyons Family Eye Care for anyone especially those with children who may not confidently know their numbers or alphabet yet. I also appreciated that I wasn't getting a hard sale on getting glasses for my small prescription!

I've been to the Lawrence Ave. location three times now. Upon each visit, the staff has been personable and attentive. They were transparent about pricing and special-ordered a frame for me to try that they did not have in stock. My exam was complete within 25 minutes of me walking in the door. Having a preference for matte finishes, I love that they had so many options to choose from. My one critique is that the selection, overall, left something to be desired. Ultimately, however, I wound up purchasing a set of frames and would recommend them to anyone looking for glasses.

Dr Stephanie lyons and her staff are amazing! I highly recommend them for their knowledge, kindness and patience. My contact lens number hadnt changed in years and i was struggling to read my mah jongg card and the tiles - much improved now!
