For the last 5 years my husband and I have been patients of Dr.Alison Halpin & we have had the best experiences during every visit. The environment is welcoming, modern, well equipped & up to date. The front desk staff, medical assistants and opticians are all friendly & efficient, wait time is minimal. Dr. Halpin is a knowledgeable professional, explaining each step of the exam thoroughly and taking the time needed to explain my diagnosis and appropriate treatment, referred me to a colleague for my cataract removal. I have recommended Dr. Halpin to everyone who has asked for a " good eye doctor "...and every single person in turn has recommended another friend or family member to her for services. Dr. Halpin is a great eye doctor and we are VERY happy with the outstanding services that she and her staff provide.

Dr. Halpin and her staff are terrific, very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this group. Years ago my wife as having an issue with one eye and our eye doctor at the time could not solve the issue. Dr. Halpin was working for him at the time and immediately saw the issue and directed my wife to a doctor who took care of it. When Halpin began her own practice, we signed up!

Overall, this is one of the best medical experiences I’ve had. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality eye care and a supportive, attentive team.

I had a great experience at Maltavista Optometry and Orthokeratology today. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff was professional, knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions throughly regarding contacts and eyeglasses. The visit was handled efficiently, and the process was smooth from start to finish. The location is convenient on Route 9 in Malta and parking was plentiful and easy. Overall, I was impressed the the level of service provided by Dr Halpin and her entire staff. I would highly recommend Maltavista to anyone looking for friendly, professional, and efficient care.

Best optometry experience I've had! All staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help with all my questions. It isn't usually so easy to try on new glasses when you can't even see them in the mirror without your lenses! I appreciated how transparent the exam process was. I got so much new information about my eyes, why my vision is the way it is, and my options going forward. I felt very respected and informed heading out the door after my appointment. The glasses themselves arrived promptly ahead of schedule and were adjusted to my specifications free of additional charge on pickup. They also made it clear they would handle any future adjustments I ever required! The glasses themselves fit well, and the lens quality is the best I've ever used for sure. I can't wait to come back to MaltaVista when I'm ready for some prescription shades this summer! I highly suggest you do the same :)
