The exam felt thorough but they billed for extra services that they would not let me opt out of when I arrived at my appointment, they bill some things as medical which caused my vision insurance to not cover it. Make sure to confirm all costs before making your appointment. I also didn’t appreciate how Dr. Foley spent a considerable amount of time lecturing me about makeup care around eyes even though I don’t wear makeup, leaving little time for me to ask the questions I came there to ask.

Dr Foley is a fantastic doctor. This is the most thorough examination I have ever had on my eyes. She has helped my girlfriend immensely and she's doing the same thing for me. Everybody who works there is knowledgeable, kind, intelligent and patient. I will go there from now on as long as they will have me.

Positives: Good, thorough exam; friendly staff; knowledgeable doctor Negatives: Disorganization, poor communication, referral errors, bad referral experience, ridiculously overpriced and SLOW glasses, incorrect glasses order Summary: If you JUST want an exam, you’ll probably be fine, but (I cannot stress this enough!) DO NOT order your glasses here. Take the prescription and run. Short version: I waited just shy of FOUR weeks to get two pair of ridiculously overpriced glasses. The computer pair is fine – I love those, but the regular pair weren’t what I ordered, they didn’t fit properly, and they weren’t transitioning as much as I expected them to do. Upon attempted replacement, my order was changed. They opted to replace my Transitions (I had paid for already) with a cheap-looking, flimsy pair of useless magnetic clip-ons. I had agreed to the clip-ons as an ADDITION to my Transitions so I could see better in the car in bright sun, but the technician made the decision to replace my Transition lenses with the clip-on. Since I can’t use the clip-on, and the replacement pair isn’t correct, I am back to wearing the pair that I got originally with lower Transition protection than they should have. (I’ve actually ordered cheap clip-ons to use in the car as needed.) In addition to the glasses debacle, Dr. Foley also referred me to Dr. Peter Karth for retina care. My experience there was atrocious. Dr. Karth was dismissive and his team, rude. While I don’t hold Dr. Foley responsible for Dr. Karth’s (or his team’s) behavior, I do think she should reconsider who she refers patients to in the future. I did reach out to Dr. Foley’s office about all these issues (except the replacement pair because it just happened) when I picked up the glasses in mid-May. I never heard from anyone so I’m now leaving this review. Seriously, just go elsewhere. There are dozens of qualified optometrists in the area. And always shop around for your glasses.

Staff is always friendly and attentive. I showed up on the wrong day and they happily worked me in. Dr. Foley is amazing. She is a great provider with expertise and compassion. I’ve been a patient there for many years and feel taken care of.

Dr. Foley is very thorough and it is obvious from her best test equipments she invests. She’s not rushed when she visits with you. Most of all she is very personable and professional! It trickles down to her staff who also are very personable and professional! Thank You! Ron
