My soon-to-be 97-year-old mom recently had a severe eye infection—so bad that she lost vision in one eye. We were incredibly fortunate that Dr. Schmidt was able to see her the same day. His care and treatment were nothing short of extraordinary. On her follow-up visit, Dr. Schmidt was at another location, but that didn’t stop him from going above and beyond. He personally called my mom, expressing his concern and asking if she could stay at the office a little longer so he could evaluate her in person—just as a precaution. Then, in a true display of dedication, he drove over himself to check on her. My mom was deeply touched by his kindness, and so was our entire family. We are beyond grateful for Dr. Schmidt and his team. His commitment to his patients is something truly special, and we can’t thank him enough!
