This Metro location has been pretty good to my family. Especially the personal who work in the lab. They are efficient, caring and thorough in doing there job The nurses are also patient and knowledgeable when it comes to handling elderly patients The doctors also take time and work with there clients clients My only suggestion is to fix the front sliding doors and for the winter put up a partition wall to stop the winter air from getting in. Seniors had a hard time getting in those side doors that has no power assist to them for opening

I'm writing this as an overdue thank you letter... I was admitted to the behavioral health hospital some years ago, right after the new facility had opened. I think it was 2022, but it's all a blur now. I was struggling with depression and a decade of addiction that had started spinning out of control with dependence on all manner of substances. I laid in my bed quietly and patiently waited out my time, in shock at being in a place I'd never expected to be and trying to appreciate the nurses and staff despite being so ill with withdrawal. It was a tough time in my life, and a horrendous point in my addiction. I never got to thank the doctor for trusting me as I was advocating for myself to seek the care I needed in the way I needed it, and to thank the nurses for being so kind and caring. I didn't leave there and magically get better, but it was a step forward after I'd taken so many steps back. The trust and absence of judgment from the doctor and the team was crucial. I am now over 3 years sober, thriving in the ways I can, and comfortable and confident in a way I don't think I've ever been. Thank you for what you guys do, and for being there during some of the worst moments in my life. I haven't forgotten it.
I had a very wonderful experience at this facility. I went in for a fractured ankle ended up having to get a splint, the nurse that did the splint was phenomenal her name is Tamika. All the other emergency room nursing staff were phenomenal as well. They took care of me and they made me feel better about my situation and I have absolutely no complaints. I wish I knew her last name (the nurse that did the splint), I'd nominate her for a daisy award. Everybody was patient and compassionate it was just what I needed at that time. Thank you ladies; Hillary, Lauren and Tamika 😍
The facility is newly remodeled and sparkling clean, which is great. I Visited a person in the inpatient section and the staff seemed very attentive, nice, friendly and helpful and everything was great and I was really impressed. However, At one point on one day though, the patient called for a nurse and they came and checked patient and everything was ok. Then a few minutes later the patient felt worse and I went to Nurses desk and told them and they said just press red call button, so we did. A nurse came in and said she was not assigned to that patient and she would tell her (the assigned nurse). We were trying to wait patiently, so we waited over 2 hours and no one ever came. So I went back to nurses desk and explained and then the nurse came and said the other nurse never told her. She apologized, but we were worried during that 2 hours and did not want to create a problem so we just waited. We were upset though that this happened. I realize we should not have waited so long and should have spoken up again sooner, so we are partly to blame, but it was still upsetting.
Husband went to Metro for Geriatric care and what a wonderful experience with Kristi Davis, APRN-CNP. She was amazing. She took her time to explain what could be going on with hubby. She was personable, patient, caring, and informative. After we failed to check on my chart for the results, she sent us a letter with her concerns. Terrific bedside manner and put my hubby at ease.
