I was referred to Dr. Luke Peterson by my ophthalmologist for a glaucoma evaluation, and I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The entire staff was exceptional. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm hello and bright smile. During my testing, everything was explained clearly, what they were doing, why they were doing it, and what to expect. That made me feel comfortable. And for those of us who appreciate a spotless environment. I loved seeing them carefully sanitized the equipment right before I used it. Excellent! Dr. Luke Peterson was kind, professional, and thorough. What stood out most? He explained everything in a way that someone without medical knowledge (me) could understand. He made everything plain and easy to follow, which made the visit much less stressful. After a little more testing, I was on my way feeling informed and well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Peterson and his staff to anyone looking for excellent eye care, professionalism, and genuine patient-centered treatment. Thank you all for such great care.

Patience really pays off! My scheduled appointment with the doctor had to be rescheduled because of an emergency, which was frustrating. Usually, I see Dr. Miles at the Indian Land location, but she was at the Rock Hill office with an open slot and was able to see me right away. Despite the inconvenience, it turned out to be a smooth and fortunate experience for me. And the turnaround to receive my contacts is impressive! Thank you, Dr. Miles. And the staff at Metroliona Eye Associates for “ALL That you do!” to keep me seeing!

My name is Ginny Buchanan. I was greeted kindly when I entered the office and entered my information on a computer. The wait time before I was called back was approximately 5 minutes. I was taken to a room where my records and prescriptions were reviewed and a few preliminary assessments completed. The young lady was thorough and patient with me. I had a short wait in the hall before going onto the eye exame room where Dr. Miles did a very thorough exam , work professionally with her assistant, and answered my questions for clarification. Next I worked with a lady who was very good at picking out perfect frames for me. This was my first visit to this office and I will be returning. I highly recommend this office.

My personal experience with Metrolina was superb. I had great hopes that I could take my daughter in and have a similarly positive experience. However, my daughter is severely autistic. When I told them that she has SC Medicaid, they refused to see her DESPITE US HAVING PRIVATE INSURANCE AS WELL. I understand that not everyone accepts Medicaid. That's fine. But to refuse to see someone with private insurance b/c they also carry Medicaid as a secondary is predudicial and descriminatory against those with disabilities. This is despicable and they should be ashamed of themselves!!

I had surgery at one of the busiest times in my life. Choosing these guys was a great decision. They They were professional and made every effort to contact me and keep me informed. From pre surgery to surgery, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thanks you guys for helping me and keeping me informed during this busy time!
