8 months ago, I brought my AuDHD 7 year old to this place to get his vision checked after a failed school exam and being in and out of vision offices since he was 4 years old. We were even at Kellogg center in Ann Arbor, to which they told me to monitor his eyes. I tried to. Not only did this doctor call my son a “LIAR” to my face where he could hear her, she totally missed that his condition had worsened, and became significantly MORE noticeable. It’s bad enough he could potentially need surgery! She didn’t want to do a full exam with eyedrops because my son was such a “liar”, but she “would’ve done it if I really wanted, it was just a waste of time.” Needless to say, I didn’t want to waste any more of her “precious” time. I’m appalled at the behavior my son received and the way she gaslit me through the entire conversation about my son. I would not recommend bringing your special needs child to this office, I would not recommend ANYONE to this office.

I will never go back there again. The females who work in this establishment need some practice speaking to customers. This woman had an attitude from the time I sat down until I left. What poor customer service.
I was treated wonderfully even on Medicaid. Very knowledgeable, it’s the best prescription I have had in many years. They will give me my prescription to order glasses wherever I choose without additional cost. Very highly recommended and worth the drive!
Had a emergency with my left eye and bell sent me over, these people are TOP NOTCH,everybody was extremely nice and helpful. They wouldnt let me leave until they set up follow up apointments to different doctors that could handle the problem. My insurance wouldnt cover anyone closer than 7 hours away but they called me the next day and made something happen with the local guy, they went above and beyond to help me.
When I called to get a copy of my contact lens prescription, Meyer Family Vision refused to give it to me because I owed a small balance for the contact lens fitting (My insurance had covered the rest) and I offered on the spot to pay it. They refused to take the money, telling me that there was a "35% collection fee" and they now demanded more. I refused to pay the extra. I told their office manager that per HIPAA they had 30 days to comply with my written request for my health information which I would provide. Their office manager told me that the contact lens exam was not a part of my medical record. I told her that I believed she was mistaken. "Well dear," she said, "We have been doing this for years." I again offered to pay the balance, and was refused again. I told her I was going to give them a poor review and she laughed and said I'd be banned from their office for life. At this point I told her I was recording the conversation, and she hung up on me. The docs there do a GREAT job, but their office manager is the reason for this review. EDIT: Received an e-mail today from Office of Civil Rights, in which they have determined that Meyer was in the wrong. How many other people have they done this to?
