JUST DON'T. Paid for an eye exam/lenses/ and contacts out of pocket and was given the wrong prescription. Told them right away the one eye was off and I wasn't seeing correctly. The manager asked me what I would like to do about it. Uhhh? I would like the doctor to check the prescription again? Doctor says it's fine but they do a little tweak. New lenses are ordered. Get new lenses in and still cannot see. Told them to put my original lenses back in because I can see better with those. Visited this optical center 6 times because nobody could seem to solve any problem. Each time they would leave my glasses completely crooked on my face and when I would ask to fix them they couldn't. I ended up leaving my new lenses there for 6 months because I couldn't use them, and couldn't afford another pair/exam etc. When I could afford to go to another eye doctor I picked up these lenses and told them the scenario. Walmart got my prescription completely wrong. Also the new eye doctor fixed my crooked glasses in two minutes. I went to back to Walmart with my correct prescription and to explain the situation and why the lenses were left for 6 months, and asked if they could simply fix the incorrect lens (mind you not even asking for a refund for the eye exam or incorrect contact lenses!) Manager declined and told me it was past their 60 day policy and was extremely rude. As I left they gossiped behind my back. I tried multiple times during in that 60 day time period for them to fix their mistakes and was extremely polite each time. Once they had my money they didn't care and left me unable to see. Unacceptable. Filing a complaint.

Crystal and the team at Walmart vision and glasses made me cry. I had recently flown back from California after receiving my new contacts and lost one of them. I went to ShopKo and they have no contacts in store. I went to Walmart vision and Crystal, the vision store manager, went above and beyond and called every single place in town with contacts and asked if they had my prescription in stock. The answer was no, no one had my prescription not even Walmart vision, I thanked her profusely For trying to do her best to help me And even offered to pay her to which she said she could not accept. I explained to her my ordeal that I had been through while traveling, being in completely new places, and not being able to see and how when I wore my glasses they fell off my face at the TSA which is why I bought my contacts. She then went and asked someone else (Probably the optometrist) if they had any trial Contacts they could give me and they said yes and right then and there I cried and I asked if I could give her a hug. I knew they didn’t have to do that and I will always be eternally grateful for their kindness. She gave me a hug and said I understand I wear contacts too. They allowed me to put them in before I left and I’m here to tell you that Crystal and the people at Walmart vision restored my faith in humanity that day. They did not ask for this review, but it is the least I can do to show my gratitude. When you go there please pass on the love. People who restore eyesight are truly miracle workers. But, this Walmart vision has Angels.

Once you pay your money they don’t care about you. I went to Walmart Vision Center for an eye exam. Exam was fine but when I left with a trial pair of contact lens and came back for my check about a week later there was a tear in my left contact (which wasn’t the correct prescription in the first place). I was apprehensive about believing him but he said I would be fine with a tear in the lens. Well, a few days later the tear got bigger. I asked and they WOULD NOT give me a replacement while I waited for my order of contacts (not ordered through them) to be shipped. I wasn’t trying to rip them off, I literally just needed the left contact to function. Their reasoning was that it was no longer the trail period (even though the tear occurred during the trail period and the Dr. said “you’ll be fine” at the contact check appointment ). On top of this, some of the workers were rude and condescending when faced with my questions and concerns. Needless to say I won’t be working with them again.

I ordered my glasses from here 2 years ago (which were insanely overpriced), and my last pair has broken. I've moved since then so I called the walmart in my new location, and they aren't doing eye exams because of covid. They told me to call the walmart in marquette to get my script so I can order a new pair, but the marquette walmart won't extend my script because it's (barely) expired, even though other walmarts are doing this since they aren't doing eye exams. So I can't order glasses because I don't have my script, but I can't get my script because it's expired, but I can't get a new prescription because no one is doing eye exams. So basically, this walmart screwed me into being blind until whenever the local places start doing eye exams again. They don't care about their customers at all, just go somewhere else. Or if you decide to go here, just get the exam then ask for your script and get your glasses elsewhere since they charge several times more than you can get online. Plus who know? If you don't get your script right away, you might never get it and end up in my situation where I will spend the next weeks/months unable to drive or do anything on my own because I can't see

On Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 3:20pm, I stopped in to this vision center to get a scratched lens ordered. (Walmart glasses with scratch protection) The only employee there was a young female with long blonde hair. She tells me it's "normal wear and not covered but, I WILL REPLACE IT THIS TIME AND THIS TIME ONLY." She then says I have to leave the one lens there to order a replacement. Having damaged a lens several months ago and the Escanaba vision center replaced it without all this rudeness and ridiculous demand to leave the lens, I took my glasses NEVER to return to this place. Follow UP: I returned to the Escanaba Walmart Vision Center reference the above damaged lens. They ordered me a replacement and installed it without any trouble. I can't say enough about the quality exam, glasses & customer service at the Escanaba Walmart Vision Center. If the Marquette Walmart was the only place in the Upper Peninsula for me to get glasses, I'd drive south of the bridge or to Wisconsin!!!
