My experience with Dr. Ken Moadel My experience with Dr. Ken Moadel was disappointing and expensive. They charge everything upfront, it’s not a simple consultation, and they even make you apply for a credit card. They charge extra just for the doctor’s years of experience, yet the care and attention are lacking. I saw patients leaving with very irritated eyes, tearing up, and cotton pads in circles; it was clear this was neither a safe nor professional environment. Fortunately, I found Dr. Steven Stetson at Diamond Vision, just a few blocks away, who treated me with professionalism, care, and respect. The surgery was painless, his team cared for me like family, and they speak Spanish. After 8 months, my vision is spectacular — thanks to Diamond Vision. My advice: don’t fall for the illusion that Moadel is your only option. Research, save your money, and prioritize your well-being. There are far more competent and compassionate professionals out there. I remember seeing Penélope Menchaca in several commercials for Dr. Ken Moadel, saying she no longer needed glasses after her procedure. Now she’s back on TV ( week ago) July 08 in Telemundo , wearing glasses. 🤦🏻‍♀️ That only makes me appreciate my decision even more. Choosing Diamond Vision in NYC was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Years later, I still enjoy crystal-clear 20/20 vision without glasses.

I had LASIK with Dr. Moadel on May 5, 2026, and my experience was excellent from start to finish. All the staff were very kind and professional, and Veronica clearly explained the CareCredit financing options. During the procedure, Dr. Moadel kept me calm by guiding me through each step, and Rosa was incredibly supportive. I truly appreciate everyone, including the front desk team. I wore glasses since I was 12, and this was absolutely worth it. I can now see clearly and couldn’t be happier! I am carefully following all the instructions I was given.

I had lasik surgery with Dr. Moadel three years ago, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Being able to go to the beach, travel, and enjoy everyday activities without worrying about glasses or contact lenses has truly been life changing. Dr. Moadel and his staff were incredibly patient, and welcoming throughout the entire process. They made me feel comfortable every step of the way, and the overall experience was great.

They are so nice and very helpful! I had a great experience here. I can finally see without my glasses! Would highly recommend coming here! Best decision ever. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I had an extremely high degree of near sightedness (-13 and -14 contacts) and my ICL surgery by Dr. Barnes was such a spectacular improvement to my quality of life! It was a great decision, and have been mentioning it to various people in my life!
