Modern Optometry

I had a great experience with Modern Optometry. The office is modern, well-organized, and very welcoming. The staff was professional, efficient, and respectful of my time from check-in to checkout. The doctor was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain everything without rushing. You can tell they genuinely care about patient comfort and accuracy. As someone who values professionalism and attention to detail in my own business, I really appreciated the level of service here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality optometry practice!

Due to some recent health concerns my vision has abruptly changed. The staff was very patient, listened to my issues and did a thorough examination based on them. The technician put me at ease while doing all the preliminary tests and then the optometrist did a thorough examination and evaluation. He took the time to answer all my questions and explain things to me in a way I can understand. Ultimately I feel very well taken care of, well informed and in my case I will return in about 6 months to see if there are any changes. I really appreciate the way all the staff genuinely listens and helps, rather than trying to pressure a sale. Great place to take care of your vision needs.

Dr. Schutte and staff at Modern Optometry are wonderful! I have been there for years - never a problem with insurance. The glasses are perfect - I never feel like I am being pressured to buy more than I need. I even come back to get more expensive glasses when insurance covers them. They care - and they remember your name.

If you need an eye exam or new glasses — RUN, don’t walk, to Modern Optometry. The doctor is thorough and has great ‘bedside manner.’ The staff is highly knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. The Optician was a hoot and really knows her stuff. 10/10 recommend.

I've been going to Modern Optometry in Fairfax for years and highly recommend them. The best Optometry practice I've been to. The staff are always wonderful and kind and Dr. Schutte is an excellent practitioner.
