I had an amazing experience at this eye doctor office! I was seen by Dr. Gilson (I believe) and she did an amazing job of making me feel seen and reassured. She was incredibly kind and has been one of the best doctors I’ve worked with. Additionally, the staff for picking eye glasses were wonderful and helped me find the best pair for me. I would definitely recommend Mountain View Optometry to anyone!
This office is unprofessional and unhelpful. We had trouble scheduling the appointment first, then they have no appointment reminders so I was unsure it went through, they have an AI you have to deal with constantly on the phone before talking to a human, and then we arrived 10 minutes late, waited in line a minute, and they said they have a strict 10 minute policy and turned us away and were rude. It is like a factory. Go elsewhere. The doctors are fine, but for long term it’s not worth interacting with the office people. They lost two customers with us.
Dr Majmundar is GREAT! Patient, careful, and communicative. I have a hard time Knowing which of two choices is “better” during an eye exam. She gives me all the time I need to make that decision. And her explanations are always clear She welcomes questions
Dr. Szeto was fabulous, as always. She is warm, sharp, and full of insight. I feel very grateful to be under her care. The person who helped me in the retail side of the practice was also fantastic. He was helpful and attentive without being overbearing or pushy. This is why I stick with MV optometry despite moving an hour away years ago! Keep up the good work.
Even though I no longer work in Mountain View, I still make the 40 mile trip to see Dr. Szeto. She explains everything - how my vision is doing, what if any changes have occurred since the last exam, what changes I might have in the future as I age. The staff is fantastic. Never had any issues with fit or the lenses when I get my glasses here. They make sure everything is aligned correctly and fit perfectly before you walk out. Thank you Dr. Szeto!
