After I was giving a prescription by the doctor at Murphy Watson Burr, insurance requested a prior authorizations. I called the office to check to see why this had not been submitted. I was told none of the doctors complete prior authorizations and will not do this for me. I was told to pick up the prescription and take it to my primary physician! The hassle, another appointment and another copay?! My insurance stated that Murphy Watson Burr is in network and they are contractually obligated to provide documentation when a prior authorization is required. What kind of doctor does this to their patients?! Why prescribe anything? I do my part in paying for my insurance and my copays. What is the point of going to the doctor if they refuse to do their part for treatment?

It's super unprofessional to allow the nurses and techs to trash talk patients in front of other patients. Both me and my spouse heard multiple different workers talking badly about people that were still in the building and people they had helped the day before. Doctor Masters and the tech guy Jack or Zack were both very polite and professional though.
IVE BEEN WAITING ALMOST AN ENITRE MONTH NOW ALMOST TWO FOR A PAIR OF GLASSES I TRY TO CALL ONLY TO GET A VM AND NO BODY WILL CALL BACK POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS PLACE NOW PEOPLE WHO NEED TO ACTUALLY SEE HAVE TO "WAIT AND WAIT". I UNDERSTAND IF THEIR IS A MESS UP ON A PAIR OF GLASSES BUT MAKE IT RIGHT WITH THE CUSTOMER ! YOU CAN CALL UNTIL YOU TURN BLUE IN THE FACE NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE LINES IN OPTICAL WITH EITHER NUMBER .
Great doctors here. Dr. Burr is one of the most amazing people you’ll meet. Very punctual and he provides great care.
