I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr.Thomas and the entire staff. From the moment I came in, I was treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions. I never felt rushed or like just another patient. The level of attention and personalized care I received was exceptional. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my entire visit. If you’re looking for an eye doctor who truly cares about their patients and provides excellent, thorough care, I highly recommend this office. Five stars without hesitation! G Smith

I have recommended NASA Vision Center to many. I was overdue for my visit. I appreciate all of the information Dr. Thomas shared. He goes beyond the exam and shares valuable information that can help me. The pre-exam gentleman was very professional. The young lady that helped me with picking out my glasses was such a delight, and I enjoyed my time with her. And, I love the three pair of glasses I picked out! They are beautiful and fit great! I have received many compliments on my new glasses.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Thomas since I was a young girl, and I truly cannot recommend him enough. He is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely takes the time to care for his patients. What sets him apart is his holistic approach. He doesn’t just focus on eye health, but also discusses overall health, brain health, and longevity. Dr. Thomas prioritizes healthy living and looks for natural, whole-body solutions rather than immediately turning to prescriptions. You can tell he truly cares about his patients’ long-term well-being. He is not only a great doctor but also someone you can trust to guide you in making healthier choices. I’m so grateful to have had him as my doctor for so many years!!!

Everyone, I am here to help you identify how this unscrupulous shop scams customers out of large sums of money in the eyewear industry. We spent two years pursuing a claim against this shady establishment, investing a great deal of effort into educating ourselves about eyewear and uncovering the inside story of how they swindle their customers. I will walk you through, step by step, how to spot their deceptive practices. This optical shop is insatiably greedy; their business methods completely lack professional ethics, and they treat customers—particularly the elderly—with a bullying and abusive attitude. The malice displayed by the shop owner is truly outrageous. In December of 2024, I contacted my husband's vision insurance provider, and a customer service representative revealed the following facts: in both 2023 and 2024, my husband’s actual out-of-pocket cost for a pair of glasses should have been a mere $35. Upon hearing this news, my husband was absolutely stunned, as he had actually paid $651 in 2023 and $593 in 2024. He spent an entire month—from January through February—gathering all relevant evidence by repeatedly requesting copies of his receipts and eyeglass prescriptions from the shop. Whenever he went in for his routine annual eye exam—despite having presented both his vision insurance card and his Medicare card (both of which fully—100%—cover the cost of eye exams)—the shop would still forcibly demand that he pay an examination fee of approximately $80. However, even though Medicare had reimbursed the shop $133 for the eye exam in 2023 and $115 in 2024, the shop never refunded the overcharged amount to my husband. At the checkout counter, the staff members would simply state a total amount and demand full payment; consequently, my husband had absolutely no way of knowing the specific breakdown of each individual charge listed on the bill. On January 4th of 2025, they once again coerced my husband into paying a $79 fee for an eye exam; then, just two months later, they collected yet another substantial fee—$142—for the same exam from his Medicare insurance company, receiving 100% reimbursement. Starting in January 2025, I spent over a month conducting an in-depth investigation into the pricing mechanisms of the eyewear industry. A highly experienced optician assisted me in this endeavor, thoroughly answering all my questions regarding the various pricing principles for eyewear and helping me clarify the basis for each charge listed on my husband's bill. In February, my husband wrote to the store, demanding a refund for the numerous erroneous charges that appeared on his bill. However, the store owner refused to offer any response whatsoever. Months later, my husband visited the store in person with a singular objective: he wanted to sign a Power of Attorney authorizing me to act on his behalf and handle all billing-related matters with the store. Yet, upon his arrival, the owners—a husband-and-wife duo—displayed extreme hostility toward him and refused to allow him to sign the document. They claimed, "We cannot let you sign this form, as doing so would violate the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)." When my husband challenged this assertion, Ann—the owner Thomas’s wife and the store’s accountant—responded with an attitude and language that were nothing short of blatant bullying and aggression. Not only did they lie—categorically denying every question my husband raised—but they also failed to mention—even in passing—the refund that Ann had previously promised to my husband's health insurance provider. My husband is an American senior citizen in his seventies—a man of exceptional honesty, integrity, and noble character. It is precisely because of these sterling qualities that he has endured three long years of bullying and fraud at the hands of this unscrupulous, unconscionable business! I will continue to post this story to expose their reprehensible behavior.
