Recently I called to possibly get a quote. I got a better quote so I went with that company who offered me a college discount, when they called back, I nicely told them that I found one that worked for me and thanked them for looking into the price for me. However, the person who answered the phone who was very rude said “good for you” in a snarky voice and hung up. Absolutely no reason for that attitude. Although I now found car insurance, I know my younger siblings are beginning to drive, and I will not recommend them this company due to poor customer service. Regardless if I chose this company or not there’s no reason to hang up and be rude cuz I said I found a better quote. The correct way to respond would be “All right no problem, have a good day.” what happened to grown men understanding manners ? That was a very strange interaction !

Awful experience. I've been a AAA member for years and have purchased memberships for my kids and for friends. Within the past few years, I've called to use the towing service twice. The first time, I called before noon, was told it would be two hours before they could get my car-4 hours later, I called Lyft to at least get my wife home and still waited. Multiple promises and calls to AAA finally had someone respond early evening without the correct towing equipment, they towed and damaged my car. This last time, again, expected two hours turned into longer, when the tow finally came, he wanted me to sign a waiver of any damage done to the car by their towing - I wouldn't sign, he took off! Calls to AAA indicated this is policy. One supervisor started the conversation with "I understand you don't want to have your car towed " to my response- no, I want my car towed, you refused to take it. So they pick the carrier but then want you to take responsibility for their choices damages. After more time, I called a real towing company that picked up my car even though I called late due to wasting time with AAA. They towed my car, accepting liability if any and delivered my car as expected. Imagine that. During my years with AAA, the only time I've needed them they failed miserably and wasted hours of my time while doing it. I would strongly recommend you seek other services and maybe even your insurance company before considering AAA.
