Newcomb Eye Center

Please do not waste your time with this center. My son had Myopia progression and Dr. Newcomb said he doesn't recommend Myopia treatment as it is what it is and nothing especial will happen. As we were worried about my son, we went to Chicago and they highy recommended Myopia treatment and we did it and now after almost 6months his eyes are the same as 6 months ago with almost zero progression. If your eye is important for you and your family then do NOT trust their advise and find an expert doctor. BTW, if yout set an appointment with them and do not go there, then they'll ask you to pay $50.

I have PTSD, and really bad medical anxiety that comes with that, and I cannot say enough nice things about Dr Newcomb and the staff here. Dr Newcomb is very good about explaining things and making sure you understand. The staff is so warm and knowledgeable. I have been a patient for a few years now and I cannot recommend this place enough.

Dr. Newcomb and all of his staff are the absolute BEST!!! I highly recommend this office! I did not have a long wait at all to see the Dr. They treat you like a person and not just a number. Ashley took extra time to help me pick out my frames and was definitely not attempting to "over charge" me as another review attempted to state, this is just simply not true. She even picked a lower priced frame as her favorite for me!

Don't bother setting up an appointment, you'll have to wait anyway. This says he doesn't value his customers time. I always get my contacts cheaper through walgreens so I sent my prescription to them to verify shipment and his daughter denied me as a customer right after I had my yearly exam! If your prescription he writes doesn't work out, you'll have to pay $50 even if it was his mistake in the first place. I was told that no one could fit lenses like he does, but I've found better doctors since! Trust me, you'll have better luck elsewhere!
