Always an excellent experience at NVDO - Clarendon. The tech gave clear instructions and made you feel comfortable using the equipment to test your eyes. The doctor was so polite (as was the other doctor I saw last year) and explained things very clearly. I always walk out a little more knowledgeable with the feeling of being taken care of.

The staff here is incredibly nice and helpful! I'm visiting Arlington from New Jersey and realized that I forgot to pack my glasses or daily contacts. The staff was so very kind and helpful when I came in and helped me get new contacts for the remainder of my trip. I definitely recommend them!

​After being a loyal customer for four years, my experience today at NVDO in Clarendon completely shattered my trust in this business. ​My glasses frame broke today for the second time in three years, so I went in hoping to discuss my options for a repair or replacement. Instead of receiving standard customer service or helpful solutions, I was met with immediate hostility and an absurd line of questioning. The staff condescendingly asked if I "sleep with my glasses on" and made dismissive comments like "you really don't know how they break?" ​Rather than offering assistance, they treated me with outright suspicion, putting me on the defensive and accusing me of mistreating my own eyewear. It is deeply disappointing to support a local business for four years, only to be treated like an inconvenience and accused of wrongdoing the very first time an issue arises. ​Customer loyalty clearly means nothing here. If you expect respectful, professional service when an issue comes up with your eyewear, save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

I found my visit to NVDO efficient, timely and overall a pleasant experience. They used new updated testing equipment reassuring reliable results. It was my first visit and I plan to returning next year.

I know it’s just an annual eye exam, but I genuinely enjoy my visits. My family have been patients at 2 NVDO offices for years. I try to always schedule with Dr. Doan. She always greets you like a friend you haven’t seen in a while. She is incredibly thorough, patient, and knowledgeable—she took the time to explain everything and made me feel completely comfortable. I also have to rave about the team member who helped me pick out and measure my glasses. He is amazing—so friendly, honest, and skilled at finding frames that actually fit my face and style. The whole process with him is easy, personalized, and actually fun. I highly recommend this office for both the exam and the eyewear experience!
