Very disappointed with the patient experience here. My son just turned 16 years old and we were referred here and saw Dr. Perry. I selected him after reading his bio on the website about being a glasses wearer thinking he could remember what that experience is like — apparently not. My son explained to him he felt like one of his eyes wasn’t working when he covered the other one. This is a description that should say — wow there might be a problem I want to understand. His response “yeah but how many times do you do that”. Sir — we don’t need your snark. My son is learning how to talk to medical professionals in prep for a few years from now when he won’t have a parent there. My son came home and said he felt like the doctor was trying to embarrass him or criticize him. The point of this appointment was to build an ongoing patient/doctor relationship and both my husband and son agreed they would never see him again. The patient sheet we received was filled with spelling errors. If you can’t spell correctly like it matters — I don’t trust your evaluation or quality of care either. I now have to get a second opinion because of the poor experience here.
