All my family members have seen Dr. Xu for many years. He is super nice and gentle. He cares about his patients and very knowledgeable. He answers all the questions thoroughly and patiently in and out of the office. We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Xu in town.
Hands down the best optometrist in the Hampton Road area! Dr. Xu is extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. His staff was very helpful and pleasant as well. I’ll definitely see Dr. Xu for all my eye care from now!

This was my first visit with Dr. Xu to get a quick exam for my glasses and contact lens RX, and I will definitely be back for any vision care I might need in the future. I probably learned more about my eyes during my visit with Dr. Xu than I have with any other Optometrist I've seen over the course of 20 years collectively. He was enthusiastic about answering all of my questions and even used visuals while he explained them. The office setting was quaint and clean, and the receptionist couldn't have been sweeter. Took me some time to find a replacement for Morgan vision care after they played the " woman/black owned" liberal card advertising. I will not tolerate this extreme of political advertisement. Dr Xu staff made every effort to make sure my insurance was taken, and when it wasnt, i did not hesitate to pay out of pocket. They simply deserve my money! Thank you for great service! I am a simple guy, dont care what your political party is, grow your business based on good service, not playing politics Dr Xu is your man!
